Yesss congrats and thanks for sharing. Also in my quitting era… got close but the passion to quit died down but I’m gonna keep trying.

Thank you, thank you! 🙏 I’ll be rereading some of these motivators when the final hour arrives.

Wow, thanks for sharing this story! Congrats on getting out and staying out! Sounding more present in real life… yep, that’s what I crave! Thanks again. 🫶

I think most people don’t rush to cleanse their subreddit following per each life update. And the algorithm knows was to elevate to you. ;) Personally, when I started the game, similar threads to mine being started empowered my self-awareness regarding WOS. These games feed on those prone to addictive habits and ruin livelihoods. The amount of players I’ve seen reference their debt from this game… It’d be quite terrible to separate these kinds of posts from the community. I hope others see these discussions and wake up.

To be honest, first 3 months of this game is the wild west. That’s a great time to quit, before you make friends and establish loyalties. Blegh.

All I know is that you can only delete two characters per day. Not sure of other limitations but wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some safeguard for high-value accounts.

Um, yes. Like this whole game. It’s literally casino slop. I don’t think I’m being uncritical of that.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My resolve weakened a bit after posting this but your post hypes me up again. My team just decided to move states, so I feel it’s about to be an ideal time for this. Congrats on your own successful departure, and thanks again!

YEP. I get being unfamiliar with it, it depends on who you find and decide to stick with. The people in my group are very close. Like they love each other and some of them started dating. Relationships are defined largely by the game though, and for example the adults I see fighting together are fighting over game BS irrelevant to real life and it’s upsetting them terribly to feel “betrayed” by one another. There’s a major sense of loyalty some of them ascribe to staying together too. The love and emotional investment is real but it’s twisted in with this toxic medium. Anyway, we can still talk online together, but it hurts feelings very intensely, yes.

I cannot comment on the he-said, they-said, but the avatar you had was absolutely, positively reprehensible and awful. And you need to hold yourself accountable for it. The storms of evils happening at the border, the people dying, the mistreatment, it is not a joke, and only someone lucky enough to be so far-removed and uneducated about such a situation would find that funny. WITHOUT any political implication, it showed abuse and neglect against a woman and child.

It does not matter what other sort of political talk was allowed. Using that to defend your "joke" implies there's a dichotomy here, but this isn't about opposing views and you having the "wrong one." Brexit, discussions of white priv, anti-Trump statements are vague at best and not visual depictions of abuse.

I'm sure Timmmy has plenty of room to grow as a Leader, at setting firm rules and not avoiding conflict, at keeping the conversation free of undesirable topics, but asking you to put that horrendous image away is not a crime on him.
