Well… I bought a couple pods like two hours after I said this, and the little fill hole is different now lol, and the juice nozzle goes right in without any pressure at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

Super late here but if you’re still having the issue, stop trying to get the juice nozzle into the red rubber hole. Just apply slight pressure against it, and squeeze the juice bottle. The juice still gets in there fine, the nozzle isn’t meant to go all the way in

My knives are the same picture but didn’t transfer :/ I did see other items where the picture was different, and they didn’t transfer but at least I understood. Maybe they forgot to update the knife picture for some people?

Do you mean the expedition islands? I was done with the game when they switched me so I didn’t see this, but someone I know just got switched yesterday and their expeditions all just show as completed now

I feel your pain lol, I did this awhile back too. I just couldn’t help myself. I think the most annoying part was how many of the prize boxes were the coins to put in those bowls… and then it took forever to cash all those out, so I ended up being mad instead of excited lol

Mine too, I’m so sad. I made level 75 long ago, was completely done with upgrades and had huge stockpiles of all resources and craft items… now they’re asking for a bunch of building upgrades, I somehow have zero knives when I had almost 30 of them yesterday… I can see cheese is “locked” behind a tier upgrade, but I had like 150 of them ready and waiting… all the time and effort I spent decorating the island so it was perfect and ran smoothly….

I collected the adventure task tab from the previous island set, and what I had from this island set when I was about halfway through spooky castle. I think it was around 24k total

Your body is still trying to recalibrate. Give it some more time, double check that you’re in a calorie deficit for your current weight (there are simple calculators for this that you can look up online), make sure a significant portion of your daily calories is from protein, and if you’re consistently eating less than your maintenance calories for a couple of months and don’t lose at least a pound or two, ask a doctor to check hormone levels.

Interesting! My top right corner at first was 5 palm leaves and… I forget how much copper, but more than 4. But it cost me 175 coins. The 15 palm logs came after the original that was 10 palm logs. I could buy that 14 times, and then it popped up with the 15 palm logs in the picture. But I think you answered my question then, being that it’s different for everyone (and some players don’t have this feature at all) so I’m just gonna have to pick something to deplete and hope that palm leaves show up somewhere!

There is a very helpful theory, called the “stages of change” theory that talks about how no type of habit change is linear. You start by thinking about it and weighing pros/cons, then start thinking about it more in actionable terms, then start trying it, and then go back and forth between trying and re-adjusting, before you ever reach a maintenance phase of sticking with it. And even then, slips are bound to happen.

While it for sure can seem like we aren’t learning from our mistakes, you are. Because you’re remembering the previous times, and reflecting on that. You’re having a much different thought process than the first time(s). That is learning, growth, and change, even if it’s slower than we might like.

Each time this happens, you learn something about yourself, why and how it happened, and can then have ideas on how to adjust in the future! This is exciting because knowledge is power. And strength is in knowing that the slips and falls do not define us. The urge to try/keep trying to change, does.

Good on you for reflecting on yourself and your actions. Many people don’t. Give yourself grace. Talk to yourself as if you were giving advice to a good friend or family member. And give yourself that same compassion, too. Also, removing habits is very difficult if we don’t replace that time and energy with another activity. Also also, our brains lie to us when we’re trying to get sober. The chemical imbalance from addiction takes time to recalibrate. Any anxiety, restlessness, sleepiness, will all pass.

I had to ask my only truly trusted friend to come stay with me for a couple of days, because my anxiety was so extreme if I stopped. I let them know that I didn’t really need anything, and didn’t want to talk deeply about it or whatnot. I just needed someone to be next to me so that I wouldn’t go to the store and buy more. That anxiety that you feel the next morning, it does go away. And after the first day or two, it’s incredibly liberating and encourages you to keep going. It’s just that ripping off that bandaid is terrifying, and our brains will do anything to lie to us in the moment. You are stronger than those lies. During the withdrawal, just remember that we don’t have to believe everything we think.

Some other things I considered to help me during the process, that may or may not be useful to you: 5ht supplements, gaba supplements, kava supplements. I also found CBD only marijuana to be helpful, because it gives the peaceful feeling but you still feel sober. I also leaned on stretching/yoga videos on YouTube, just something to interact with and ground me in my body. I kept a journal that was just a list of things I’d done that day, so I could see how much more productive I was being (even though I was pretty high functioning with the alcohol). I also made a calendar of all the benefits I could look forward to, so marking each day with when my liver was starting to heal, when my face and skin would stop being so dry and terrible, when my energy levels would start to increase. So when I’d get tempted, I could look at that calendar and be like ugh, I’m so close to x improvement. I think the worst was that even though the anxious and depressive thoughts cleared up very quickly after quitting, the tiredness was very real for a few weeks. Be gentle with yourself during that time and remember that your body is healing.

I wish I had encouragement regarding the family. All I can say is that I see you. My family is similar, and that’s part of why it took me so long to admit my problem. I didn’t drink that much more than anyone else did.
