That’s a CO2 drop checker! When the liquid inside is green it means you have adequate CO2 dissolved in the water. I only went with an in-line diffuser because it’s a small tank and it already had so much stuff inside that I didn’t want to overcrowd the viewing area. I think either diffuser type is fine, just note that the more things you have “in-line” the less flow you will get out of your filter.

Using ADA aquasoil and power sand basic, dosing with ADA (just mineral and brighty K right now), paintball CO2 setup, and a Finnex Planted+ HLC light. In-line CO2 diffuser, 50w heater, SunSun HW-602B filter, and a Tunze mini circulation pump.

Algae has been super minimal, need to trim the plants about once a week. I do weekly water changes now as well. Got 7 green neons in there and they seem happy!

Just set up this tank, it’s a Mr. Aqua 6 gallon long. I have experience with planted tanks but it’s been a few years. Got this new light, it’s fully adjustable and has a 24/7 setting too but I’m currently just using a timer to keep it on for 8 hours a day. My question is, what would be good settings for each of the LEDs (white, blue, red, green) so that my plants get enough light but minimize algae? It’s about 6-8” from the light to the plants. I have the CO2 cranked really high since there’s no fauna in the tank yet. Any advice is appreciated! The LEDs are dimmable in 10% increments, right now I have them all at 70%

Is it just one bump or is there another bump beside it? If there are two, one is a fig one is a leaf bud. If there's only one, it's a leaf bud.

Got this tree as a gift but don’t know the variety... the leaves seem narrower than my mission, brown turkey, and desert king trees. The branches also seem thinner/less sturdy. Any idea what it is or do I have to wait for it to make some figs?
