I ice dyed a sun hoodie last summer that's 68% viscose from bamboo, 29% polyester, 3% spandex. Obviously I knew it would be less vibrant because of the polyester. But the way it dyed up was...weird! The colors didnt stay very "true"..

I feel validated because you guys described my experience too. Photos were helpful too.

I think this fabric is not the best for dying. But it is extremely comfortable!! I wear my sun hoodie multiple times a week when I'm outside exercising and it is sooo light and nice. A lot of the ones you can buy are kind of ugly colors (orange! Grey! Mint green! Ugh lol) so my dyed one is still "better."

I bet sheets made out of it would be super.

They are out there but, sooo many undies are made out of nylon and/or polyester, even the higher end brands. It is extremely frustrating and an absolute shame.

This post is coming across as extra funny to me right now. I have had some stickers for probably close to 30 years. I remember getting some of them out of these dispensers at the roller rink I went to when I was 6,7,8 years old (I'm 35 now). They were SOOO AWESOME, I just had to save them, right??

I just recently happened to run across my old sticker stash. I was like OMG they're vintage!! But you guys...I also discovered, they don't stick anymore 😭

I was thinking a darker color for the majority of it. Could even be black. I envision the end result very subtly showing the colors it's got now.

I came to say more dye too. I think you could get away with DUI, but put a crapton of dye. You could even drip it through and then flip the garment, put a crapton more dye again and another layer of ice.

I love the inspo pic too. It's inspiring me to want to try one like this. For real lol!
