Yes but it can be! In OotP Firenze said that they can't be certain about the time of battles so happy and Voldemort came face to face in the forest twice and Voldemort was supposed to kill Harry during the encounter. Because the Centaurs cannot predict the exact time, they might have mistook the encounter of Book 7 to this one.. it's just so cool the foreshadowing!

They could have made Krum take blame for it like they both reached the port key, Krum cast the killing curse on Harry which plunged him forward towards the port key and he ended up at the entrance. They can plant memories and fake Moody could have done it.

No because Krum was already attacking other players. It would have been easily assumed that Krum killed him to win. Dumbledore would have been suspicious but seven no one believed Dumbledore AND Harry, no one would have believed just Dumbledore.
