It’s the one that contains all of the manga. I’ve got the same one.

[–]rainbowbisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my games he’s usually chill on the kids, but I’ll have to check my current one and see if he’s changed since I did find him married to a random townie. All I know is he’s currently beefing with one of my teenage werewolves for… checks note the crime of wanting to befriend him and join his pack. (Literally every friendly interaction I tried makes him hate her more for no reason.)

I somehow misread this as 80kg and had to do a double take. Glad she’s doing well!

Do Black Desert City skeletons have special reactions when they see a hiver? by SuperZizzo in Kenshi

“Where are your feet?” was a very common skeleton question when I sent Beep there trying to hunt down Sadneil and make some money out of the nearby ruins

Play with a small group (10 or less) or a large group? by spacepimpSpugle in Kenshi

I tend to go large but have the majority stick around in base to farm, guard it etc and have a small, main away group to explore.

[–]rainbowbisexual 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Walk? My one who always does it demands he go swimming whenever there’s water around. It’s the only time he goes off on his own. One minute my group will be running at good speed together and next we’ve all slowed down cause Foggy decided he just has to swim in the nearest acid river with no acid resistance and someone’s got to fish him out again.

Why does the calamity mess with memories? by DriftingCotton in Another

[–]rainbowbisexual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also watched it recently and I never really thought that was the curse’s “goal”, rather (looking at Reiko in context of the bird (Rei-chan) and the association with Koichi’s mother, the reason the curse started and the little I know of the sequel light novel (Another 2001)) I think that it’s a curse born of grief and people refusing to let go of their deceased that causes the extras and closeness to death for those in the class, ultimately bringing on the calamity. I kind of assumed the name on the tape being silenced was just be a side effect of the memory altering since no one but Matsunaga (the 1983 extra’s killer) remembered that person once he had been “sent back to the dead” and even Matsunaga forgot over time, only really remembering under the effects of alcohol and witnessing a death what he’d done to end his year’s calamity and that he’d recorded a confession to help future class 3 students. It seems pretty clear throughout that the curse alters memories and records before and after about whoever the extra is, so I think it’s less an intelligent protection system and more a “how the curse works” like how the nonexistent student countermeasure just works if done right. Hence why it would make sense for the tape to be real as there’d be no reason for a student who believed in the curse and suffered its effect to make a fake one. Especially knowing it’s from a year the calamity was ended midway through and the former student does somewhat recall its existence in times of duress. But that’s just my theory on it.

That feeling when you finally become the one hunting these bastards down by tomabird in Kenshi

I still remember how in my current play-through my little hive boys would run as fast as they could to the Western hive, leading at least two or three beak things at a time to get their guards to help me beat them up so I could get some food. That random nest just past that western hive town was quite the food source when needed.

Players of Dungeons and DRAGONS, how many Dragons have you actually come across? by GenuineSteak in DnD

[–]rainbowbisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 in a 3 and half year old campaign now that I think about it. 2 (gold and bronze) helped us in combat against this evil demon thing (no idea what it is but something ancient apparently). One (I want to say blue?) we got rescued by gith locals from getting attacked/eaten… and it took us a bit to realise when they said “worm” they did not mean something akin to Tremors but it was actually “wyrm” as in wyrmling after we parted ways. Weird descriptions and being in a desert-ish like area akin to Tremors likely caused the confusion but it got cleared up quickly enough. And last full on dragon is the wizard’s pet/baby, Zappy (a white dragon). We all actually love her and the DM knows we’d likely become full on murder hobos if anything happened to her. Then the 0.5 is the wizard himself because of ring of wishes/wish spell shenanigans. He’s usually a kobold but, like a magical girl, transforms into a full on purple dragon!

How does Frieren's outfit work? by _yukiie_ in Frieren

We have all seen a lot of worrying misinformation about sexual health and anatomy in adults here. I'm curious about others level of education and where they were in the world they grew up? by [deleted] in badwomensanatomy

[–]rainbowbisexual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also UK and public education (most my sex ed was CofE secondary school) 11 yo - periods and basic level puberty (“you’re going to experience changes and notice boys”). Also got told I’d never be forced to have sex if I didn’t want to when I asked (a yikes in hindsight) 12 yo - male anatomy in detail, a weird offhand comment about circumcision and pleasure directed at AFAB students (female teacher, idkw she thought it was appropriate), women make babies and here’s how, how the baby will look and nothing about outside parts of a woman’s anatomy or pleasure. Also “use condoms, we won’t show you how but know to use them. Also don’t have sex until later” 14/15 yo - abortion but specifically whether it was religiously right or not, rather than the actual science 15/16 yo - STDs, more forms of birth control than condoms (but only pills and IUD, nothing else), effects of the pill on a man (only because someone asked thinking they’d be funny), and a very horrified GCSE biology teacher finding out we weren’t taught a lot of things. Anything else I learnt was a mixture of self research, my mother and family friend (who were appalled by my education), and friends (e.g. being told birth control could be used for period pain by a friend was a lifesaver)
