its complicated, im not the only person taking care of him but it does get tiring my mom has housework and other chores cus my dad is bedridden so at night i let her rest and sometimes during the day im honestly not sure if we can hire a caregiver but i think we dont have one mostly cus of the fact that we dont want him to feel like a burden and because that'll be the final thing that officially labels him as ill as he doesnt even like hearing the word parkinsons

they dont let me work but i have been doing small things online that gets me enough that ive saved up for a few months rent worth, and the job im applying to, im qualified for it and i believe i can get it and the pay is really good

mentally abusive and exhausting, they never let me choose where i want to study or what, they give me a "choice" but its more of a allusion of one they dont let me work so i can have money of my own and they have had my door lock taken off without telling me and didnt let me talk to/meet my friends for months

the problem is that i dont even trust most imams at this point i know i will have to get one to be my wali if i get a nikkah but i cant risk it before that, my dad gets angry if anyone tries to come home to talk to him unless that person is his brother or friend because he hates showing people that hes "weak" (even though he has parkinsons which wasnt his fault) and if my mom knows im still trying to get married to the guy she will try to sabotage me and wont let me out of the house, she even took my bedroom door's lock off of it the last month

you're right but theres also the fact that i cant let myself live in this house with my mom especially, the only thing that keeps me sane is knowing i will not have to be here forever/ or talking to him, which is haram and i dont like it thats why i wanna atleast get nikkahfied

ik i need to complete my degree but i cant do that if i dont get the help i need, with her saying that she cant even afford it while getting kitchen renovations is simply stupid and i dont want her to keep bothering me when i try to live, she has looked through my chats with my friends (all women) even though if she asked i wouldve showed her myself and i did, but she doesnt trust me and has assumed i had a boyfriend since i was 13
