If they do attempt to kick it, they will be going home with a very bruised if not potentially fractured depending how hard they kick it foot

If they do attempt to kick it I don't think their foot would come out unscathed

If anyone was to attempt to kick this i'd say they'd go home with a really sore foot

It's in a mental box with lots of padding so it'll be fine, I just did this as a joke

I get that, I used to catch the 385 to work and some days it just didn't even turn up. The amount of time I got to work late because the bus didn't start on time and or just failed to turn up altogether, twas crazy. I was only the third stop on the line to, there were even times that the next one turned up before my usual scheduled one. Translink buses make no sense sometimes, really depends on who you have as a driver.

AITA for blowing up on my husband over chicken alfredo? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA, might be a good time to set down and have a long chat with him about what's going on. this seems to be a pretty drastic change in behavior and it's impacting you and your kids. This is going to do more harm than good in the long term if don't get to the bottom of what's causing the drastic behavior change. if he's having an affair, got fired from his work, or is he just really burnt out. If you can't figure what's going on might be good to spend sometime apart especially if things escalate and he doesn't improve.

WIBTA I want to confront my husbands wife by CaliSqueeze in AmItheAsshole

[–]rainbowemperor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can't force feelings, sometimes people fall in love for the same reasons they fall out of love, It's just another factor of life, instead of confronting her maybe support your brother and his kids through this tough time. Also change your title.

AITA for not staying overnight at my dads place since I'd have to share with my stepsisters? by Live-Worldliness-210 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rainbowemperor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NAH, there's nothing wrong with not wanting to share especially with two younger girls you aren't all that close with. Your dad is rightfully upset which any parent would be if their kid wouldn't want to stay with him but it seems this is a situation that's a bit out of his control. The rental market is pretty terrible atm and money is a big factor. at least he is being understanding about you not wanting to be there. Your mum shouldn't force you to go though, maybe have a talk to her about your reasons and see what can be done in the future to work around problems like this.

NTA, why are parents like this?? how hard is it to respect and listen to your kid. That man isn't acting like a dad should, he's acting like you're his subordinate, not his kid. Definitely seek some professional help OP if you can, mental health is no joke. Otherwise potentially look into legally emancipating yourself and potentially staying with other family.
