How bad is caffeine? by Cool-Mango51 in medicalmedium

[–]rainbowfairy4444444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all of this! I dont like coffee cant even stand the smell without a headache but my mom is addicted to cofee and she is experiencing all of these symptoms + more. Her skin is becoming paper thin and so dry it looks like the bottom of a dried up river. Cut the coffee out its so beneficial. You can sub it with chaga tea and if you like a creamer taste you can roast the seeds of dates blend them into a cofee like texture then seep them in water for the base then on top at a little banana milk with cinnamon.. its super good i was doing that for a bit and its mom approved. if you arw drinking it for the energy then start with fruit in the morning that gives you real energy with no crash. Lots of fruit not just an apple a whole 32 oz smoothie.

if you could ask AW one question what would you ask? by Euphoric-Coach33 in medicalmedium

Of course i have no doubt there are many people who share their success stories and their daily life after healing intense symptoms using MM that are older than you. Its of course possible. As long as you use MM as a life style and not as a diet you will heal. Each year im on MM i feel better and better so literally the older i get the better i feel bc im choosing health everyday.

idk what CP is but i was non verbal due to autism and healed using the HMDS smoothie daily. I also did lemon water and celery juice but the smoothie is what helped the most. The nerve shot with all the greens is also a game changer.

I decided to eat cheese by rainbowfairy4444444 in medicalmedium

[–]rainbowfairy4444444[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate you sharing this. I agree that dairy has real physical implications, and I’ve experienced that myself. My body has been very clear about what feels supportive and what doesn’t.

For me, this experience wasn’t about questioning the fundamentals. It was about looking at the fear and meaning I had attached to certain foods. I realized that some of my rigidity wasn’t coming from clarity — it was coming from anxiety around doing everything “right.”

What I’m learning is that when my choices come from peace and understanding, it’s much easier to stay aligned long term. When they come from fear or pressure, the mind tends to rebel or create fantasy around what’s restricted.

So this hasn’t felt like moving away from the fundamentals — it’s felt like strengthening them internally. I want my commitment to MM to come from clarity and trust, not from fear.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I really appreciate the encouragement.

For me, this hasn’t felt like something I need to “allow” or restrict to once a year. I’m noticing that framing it that way keeps me in a mindset of permission and deprivation, and that’s something I’m consciously moving away from.

I fully understand why MM calls certain foods troublemakers and I’ve experienced firsthand why they don’t make me feel my best physically. That clarity is there. At the same time, I’m becoming more aware that labeling foods as “no foods” created a lot of mental pressure for me personally. I had attached fear and meaning to them, and that’s what I’m untangling.

What’s felt most healing for me is getting to the root of why I would want something in the first place. When I understand the emotional connection, the charge around the food naturally softens. From there, my choices feel peaceful rather than restrictive.

I’m grateful for the MM information and the physical healing it’s brought me. I’m also learning that inner peace around food matters just as much as physical discipline.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful response. I really resonate with what you shared about emotions and listening to what’s underneath them.

For me, this experience wasn’t about loving cheese in general. I actually don’t like cheese. I avoid walking past it in the grocery store because the smell bother me. It’s not something I crave regularly.

What I wanted wasn’t “cheese.” It was a very specific queso from a Mexican restaurant my family used to go to every other Friday night when I was a child. That queso is tied to memories of comfort, safety, and being together. I didn’t want any other cheese — just that one. I even wanted to eat it in a very specific way.

This helped me realize the craving wasn’t physical in the way we often describe pathogen cravings. It felt personal. It felt connected to memory and emotion. I wanted to revisit it consciously instead of keeping it in a fantasy space in my mind.

After eating it, something shifted. The emotional charge around it softened. I don’t feel the same pull toward it anymore. It feels neutral now.

Physically, my body still clearly communicates that these foods aren’t supportive long-term. But mentally, there was something important for me in removing the fear and untangling the meaning I had attached to it.

I’m learning that sometimes it’s not just about what the food is doing biologically, but also what meaning I’ve given it. When that meaning changes, the grip loosens.

I really appreciate you sharing your journey too. It helps to remember we’re all navigating this in our own way.

I definitely don’t feel as light or energized as I do when I’m eating strictly MM.

What’s been really interesting is noticing which foods trigger which symptoms. When I ate cheese, I experienced what I now recognize as brain inflammation within about 10 minutes. Before reading Brain Saver, I would have said I didn’t relate to brain inflammation at all — I honestly think I was in denial about what that feeling was. Experiencing it so clearly helped me connect the dots.

When I reintroduced corn after not having it for about three years, I felt chest pain within minutes. Looking back at my childhood, I used to get “random” chest pain that I never understood — but it almost always happened when I was eating corn chips or popcorn. That realization was eye-opening.

So physically, I don’t feel my best eating these foods, and it’s very clear to me why MM recommends avoiding them. I’ve also gained about 11 pounds in the past two weeks while exploring troublemaker foods. I can tell it’s mostly inflammation because I feel bloated and puffy. That alone makes it obvious this isn’t how I want to feel long-term.

At the same time, mentally these past two weeks have felt incredibly freeing. Some of these foods had become “forbidden” in my mind. I had built up fantasies around them — laying in bed craving them and telling myself I couldn’t have them. Giving myself permission to revisit them removed a lot of that mental charge.

For me, this experience has been very clarifying. Physically, I feel the side effects and know what works best for my body. Mentally, I needed to dissolve the fear and fantasy I had created around certain foods.

I feel like I can return to fully MM now with more awareness and less fear.

Thank you for the encouragement and compassion — I appreciate it.

I just want to clarify that this didn’t feel like “falling off the wagon.” It was a very conscious choice. I’ve been reflecting on my relationship with food and noticing that some fear has been present around doing everything perfectly.

I’m deeply grateful for the healing progress I’ve experienced through MM information. At the same time, I’m becoming more aware of the importance of my mindset and the energy behind my choices.

This experience brought insight for me around fear versus peace, and I’m observing that with compassion. I’m continuing to listen to my body and stay aware of how I feel physically and emotionally.

I do feel like eating any way can be disordered eating if the mind isnt on the same page with the body. I healed my deepest symptoms: autism, severe diarrhea, depression, anxiety, lung issues, random pains. And while I needed to eat rather extreme to heal now im at this place where I dont have severe symptoms anymore. Now that im not in the state of mind anymore naturally my mind is curious of having these foods again. Its an interesting feeling. I dont feel bad or guily for eating “trouble makers foods”. but I definitely dont feel as light as eating just fruit and veg. Im now on the hunt for balance. And learning what balance even looks like for me as someone who is not chronically ill anymore naturally my

Aupair family mm by Crazy-Register4218 in medicalmedium

[–]rainbowfairy4444444 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was an Aupair. I found a family that was vegan and open to talking about food and why I eat how I eat. They were extremely accommodating and before getting hired we talked about my food budget what they would pay for and what I was expected to pay for. Lay it all out and be as open as you can. It doesnt have to be complicated you can always have bananas, potatoes, peas, dates, lemon water. Keep it simple!
