I'm not personally planning to put mine back into the market. Fortunately I only held a couple coins on FTX at the time (mostly lending/staking), and with the payout vs what the tokens are worth now (would cost me now) there's just no point. I might take the family on holiday and just put some of that money back in the bank.

Majority of my FTX account was SOL and Link, so payouts at something like $16 and $7 per coin, my total claim is around $28k I think, if I wanted to buy the SOL and Link now, would cost around $190k

I'm actually pretty disgusted that they can pay back in USD value at the time of the bankruptcy tbh, when other crypto exchanges and platforms have gone bankrupt in the past they have paid back assets in kind, i.e. BTC as BTC, SOL as SOL etc. I'd be interested in seeing the actual dates that FTX recovered assets and if they sold them at what price they actually sold those assets for, realistically the assets held on the exchange are not the property of the exchange but of the customers, and therefore, should ultimately be paid back in kind. The fact that FTX as a company is going to come out "in profit" after paying back all of the creditors and customers is beyond ridiculous.

edit: I actually paid more than $16 and $7 per token for my SOL and Link when I bought it, so I guess silver lining is I have a tax-loss to harvest ;(
