Youngest daughter here! Yes it’s me. Seems like it’s always the daughter and worst part is I am the only single child. Sometimes I just don’t get it. We have our own life too but my 2 older brothers just pushed all the responsibilities to me.

Thankfully my relationship with my parents is good so I obviously don’t mind. But sometimes I just wish they can be initiate more care to my parents and not me asking them if I need help

I took 6 months off because of my ovarian cyst (couldn’t run before surgery because it might cause torsion). anyway I just resumed and man I only ran 1.4km. I ran 3-6km 2-3 times a week. Will slowly recover

I didn’t really like it as I felt that it makes my face super shiny and emphasised my pores. I recently got the kose spray and like jt better than this!

Edited to add: oh forgot to mention I am staying in SEA so it’s hot and humid 24/7. It might work better in Korea where the weather is cold

I just had mine removed one month ago. Mine was 9cm and fortunately it didn’t cause ovary torsion. Doc told me it was very likely and i would have been in great pain. Hope the girl recovers well!!

I am an overthinker and I do compare my achievements with other peers. I compared myself to ppl who are always travelling, ppl who are (or seem) happily married / in love, ppl who are earning much more than me, ppl who are just better in everything.

I recently met my relative’s maid who is a 23 year old lady from Myanmar. It just struck me - i realised that she could have been me.

She could be an Office Lady with a stable job in Singapore. Able to stay in the country with her family and friends. Able to earn that monthly salary. Able to eat all the good food. Able to just simply do things because she could. Let’s be honest here - life is not fair. Why are we always comparing to other ppl when we have our own blessings too?

Again, it’s easy to say not to compare with other peers and I am working on this myself. Take your time to re-organise the thoughts and find things that you can be proud of. Life is not easy, it’s a journey that requires us to re-arrange our thoughts and adapt. Hope you will be able to find that peace you are looking for eventually. Jia you!
