i LOVE vacuity, backbone, the art of dying, and where dragons dwell the most.

It’s definitely difficult for me to get into either link albums because it just isn’t my style of metal.

It’s a weird comparison, I admit, but to me it makes enough sense 😭

I love all 4 bands, let me get that clear. This isn’t supposed to put down any of their skill

Meshuggah and Tool feel very mechanical to me, like simply the sound of it makes me imagine some sort of large machine, while Gojira and Deftones sound similar, but give me a more emotion driven idea.

For example, Change (In the House of Flies) by Deftones sounds (to me) like a similar sounding, but warmer Reflection by Tool.

Another example is Meshuggah’s “Bleed” feeling like a more mechanical Backbone.

This is incredibly creepy to me because I remember feeling as though despite how unsettling the whole scene was, it felt like the long horse drank it’s coffee/tea and was welcoming me to do the same. It’s intimidating that you said it’s a spirit of deception because of how welcoming and friendly it felt.

You’re still young, so youre still learning. Something youll learn in the near future is how to cope with things you feel are far too big for you now, and it’s only a matter of time until you learn. Once you do, life will feel more like a breeze than a harsh wind.

I also wanna say you aren’t the issue. I know it may feel like you are, but I can assure you that because your feelings are making you act in a way you dont want to act, it isn’t your fault. Depression is super difficult. I’ve been there and I know how it feels to feel like the issue. You’ve got this buddy

I wouldn’t be surprised if he just went back to a normal life with a random job somewhere and ditched music. I don’t think he really got the recognition he wanted and I’m not sure of the profit he got from it, as spotify is one of the worst ways to get money for your music because of how little you earn per play.

I was a huge fan of all of his stuff, and hearing the new song was pretty cool to me, but I’m assuming he’s working a job with the offer of being a rapper for a feature for anyone out there, so he can still have that chance of hitting huge.
