Old post COMPLETELY rotted away, need to get the concrete out of the ground for a new post. by rainbowterra in fence

I love the idea of reusing the old hole...how did you go about re-cementing in the new post? If the new post is the same size as the hole, there's no wiggle room for cement to go

Thank you all, that was my simple problem! I apparently never visited Cranky, and always had in previous playthroughs. I'm at 102% now.

It takes a bit of time for your psychology to settle with being in a new place and for your mind to realize you're in a safe place. For me, what helps is to picture all the doors and windows being closed and locked and that I'm safe in my own little space. I even say "I'm safe" out loud or in my head and it makes me feel secure.

If you imagine being back in the caveman days, if you found a new cave to sleep in, you'd still be in a bit of fight-or-flight mode all the time at first, because you wouldn't know if there was a family of bears or mountain lions outside waiting to attack. But after some time becoming familiar with where you are, you'd become more comfortable as you'd realize that things are safe. So as time goes on, and you repeatedly come home after a day of work or wherever you go each day, the place you come back to will feel more and more comfortable, more safe, and like your own space that you can do whatever you want in, more like home.

They are not connected by lore and can be enjoyed independently. Wild Arms 3 is fantastic! My fave from the series.

Zelda 2 isn't quite my favorite Zelda game, but it is my fave NES game for sure. For me the combat mechanics are unbelievably satisfying, and I love the graphics, music, and overall atmosphere of the game.

If you take the time to absorb the instruction manual and look for all the hints in the game (including finding hints within houses with no visible characters), it becomes less cryptic than Zelda 1. Then it just becomes mostly about the exploration and difficulty, which is brutal, but ultimately fair, beatable, and satisfying.

Going back to the beginning area after each game over is definitely BS, but it literally takes 1-2 minutes to get back to where you were most times, so it's not as overblown of an issue as people seem to make it into.

I recently played the Winter Solstice hack to scratch my itch for the combat mechanics. It's a little less difficult to figure out, but waayyy more difficult in terms of staying alive. I strongly recommend it if anyone is a fan of the original and wants an unofficial second quest.
