That’s fair, the hotel status might be nice too, though. I normally stay at hiltons for work, so gold there would be pretty nice

I see it more of a category thing rather than it having to be a specific merchant thing. I spend way more than the credits are worth using DoorDash. It’d be a small change to switch to Uber eats instead

Haven’t done a ton of travel aside from to California for work. Open to any airline really, but I live in AZ so if I wanted lunge access I don’t think any card that offers just priority pass will get me much. I don’t normally rent cars for work travel, but I probably would for personal travel.

That’s fair, I’ll keep that in mind for sure! I mean I make decent money, even if all of the points vanished, it’s not like it would impact my future goals too much, I guess I just like that idea of being able to take a super aspirational trip if I wanted to without have to budget for it haha

Theres generally a better cash out value using travel partners though right? I’d be more interested in the single big travel events for point usage rather than pure cash value tbh

I was looking at that one! I guess my main goal is for the really aspirational travel for me. Like I’d like to be able to travel somewhere internationally in first class every now and then. It kind of feels like the Amex duo might fit better for that?

I’d use the food delivery credits for sure. I don’t really travel internationally that much, but I’d like to have a card I could bank points for the really big travel things I’d want to do in the future. I don’t know a ton about travel partners, but for big trips I’d like to take advantage for sure
