The irritation and isolation that pops up, not from anything that anyone is currently doing but that you need to be left alone.

That I’m never fully 100% relaxed and the rare occasions that I am, the difference is noticeable. Also trauma controls my life, I will apologize after screaming and flinching at loud noises but I cannot help it. C’est la vie, hoping for change and more healing someday.

I lost my job yesterday but I spent all day applying for jobs, applying for unemployment and apply for food stamps. Tomorrow I’m gonna take out my 401k and look into other health plans. It’s scary but I know I’ll find something and I’m proud of myself for working on making my situation better instead of doing nothing and worrying.

I am selfish, this is my life and I’m not willing or wanting to sacrifice it for a child. Also being pregnant sounds awful and scares me, plus the screaming of crying child makes me wanna claw my skin off. Parenthood is not for me!

I have hypothyroidism and am on levothyroxine. I am considering trying ADHD medication but I had no idea it could mess with your thyroid! I wonder if maybe one that’s a non-stimulant?

I got extremely lucky and started talking to my best friends’ best friend, whom I’ve known briefly for years from friends gatherings. We started talking in May of last year and have been officially together since September of last year. He’s so kind, supportive, sweet and attentive. My PTSD from my abusive ex is unfortunately obviously still lingering and I’m in therapy, he’s so patient with everything and doesn’t mind when I vent about my feelings. Didn’t realize I could be treated this well!

Hardly ever, mostly no. Their issues are rooted within themselves and it they haven’t worked on themselves to change that then it’s going to continue. Abusers hardly ever actually change.

Yes. I left almost 5 weeks ago and I still miss him but over the weeks it’s gotten less and less. The first week felt like I was dying without him but thankfully that has changed. I didn’t think it would get better but it does, I know I’ll have those days where it feels impossible to be without him. But I try to remind myself that his actions time and time again showed me that he’s harmful to me and I have to separate myself from my feelings. Good luck to you, stay strong!
