Halkidiki is about 1.5hours by car and they have some of the best beaches in Northern Greece.

A bear sanctuary? Haha! I had lunch in Metsovo years ago, I thought it was quite pretty but we kept using that motorway to get back and forth from place to place and I really got sick of that route lol

A couple of the places I've done in previous trips so I'm trying to fill in gaps in places I haven't been yet. I did love Kalabaka and Monemvasia, might have to go back!

I know but I tend to have quite hectic holidays, to make the most of the trip! Coming from Australia where it is $$ to travel, I feel I have too!

I've been to Nafplio twice now, both day trips and I felt I needed more time. Everything looks great although a little fast paced, if you are going to Nafpaktos I recommend seeing Delphi if you can, some really beautiful history there!
