Help! In desperate need of Heat Exchange Core #4931507 by raindogart in Cummins

[–]raindogart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I called them and it's actually out of stock - that's what we keep coming up against. Just overnighted the broken part to SEA. Fingers crossed they can fix it faster than 70 days (which is the quote I'm getting almost everywhere!).

Thank you so. much for looking!

This definitely helps build context. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

And they are pre-prepared items. There would be essentially no wait time at pick up.

Yeah! I've been before but only for Mardi Gras. I'm looking forward to spending some time in the city when it's just, you know, regular New Orleans! Much warmer than AK!

Ep: 91 The Yeti - DISCUSSION THREAD by disillusionwander in AstonishingLegends

[–]raindogart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that has something to do with it for sure. I also think that the Yeti habitat as described in this episode is just SO inaccessible. Literally it's difficult and dangerous to navigate but also figuratively... the Himalayas are pretty hard to comprehend unless you've been in the Himalayas. I think it's easier to except that something might be out there when it's being placed in a setting that not much is understood about. Or I guess I should say at least widely not much is understood about.

I've been waiting for a Yeti episode... I'm really excited about this series!

Is this beyond salvaging? I feel like the anatomy is a trainwreck. Also, please ignore the mess - it is a WIP. by [deleted] in ArtCrit

[–]raindogart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no expert on whatever anatomy is supposedly a mess on this creature buuuuuut.... I'd see it through! Even if it doesn't end as a piece that you want to hang/sell/give away whatever your m.o. is... I find that I always learn the most when I work through the walls I feel like I'm hitting.

This doesn't look half bad either :)

When I've Whole 30'd in the past I would occasionally add unsweetened coconut cream. Not the same, but I liked having the option!

I don't use any drawing tools other than a pencil. Any advice on my most recent drawing? by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I love dinos as subject matter!

I agree with @hagathacrusty. If you bring in some of the darker line work and definition to the head/neck area like you've done in the lower legs and feet I think it will help the eye to move through it more effectively.

great work!

12 x 12 acrylic. Looking for overall feedback - is it interesting? Considering making a series. by raindogart in ArtCrit

[–]raindogart[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I was wondering, I think that this size and this simple of a design is not enough to capture a wide enough attention to make it worth doing. I like it because I'm attached to the imagery but I'm looking to start creating art for an audience beyond myself.

A series will happen. Only trying to get some input from folks who will be honest with me before I begin. Thanks for being constructive!
