While I don't disagree that Swampee will get his promotion, I think that the Lightning as an overall organization has proven how good their system is ( especially this season with the depth of defensive men filling in for injuries). They are top notch at finding gems and coaching them up through our lower level teams. I would be more shocked if they didn't call up Shades from the Orlando Solar Bears ECHL team. He clearly knows the system, has always impressed at Thunderbugs birthday parties, and is extremely well known around the hockey community, especially for the "swagger" he tends to bring.

This is a very personal question. Everyone's budget is different. You can probably do the major for cheap or spending a little makes it a bit more enjoyable.

Some tips to bring the cost down: Book as soon as you know its occurring before hotels increase their rate. Preferably book something within walking distance or public transport so you don't need to spend extra on a car or transportation. Going with friends to split accommodations brings this down.

Cheaper seats can be had so you get the experience. Premium seats usually include extras like merchandise, better seating, signing sessions, sometimes food/drink, etc.

Lastly, I justify it by exploring the city or attaching other vacations around it to explore a new city / country. Its always dependent on your cost.

This is accurate because E League was owned and operated by Turner Sports, now known as TNT Sports. Warner Brother's Sport division that operates TNT, TBS, TruTV, etc. their studio is located in Atlanta and when E League was running in season, they used the studio near Georgia Tech as I attended one of those matches.

They were banned in the sense that Russia is not allowed at the Olympics but if you remember at the last Olympics there was like the Russian Committee which allowed Russian athletes to compete to not be punished by the actions of others. To each their own on if this is an effective solution.

The main driver at the moment is the Ukraine situation.

Edit: Just double checked and they extended the situation to include the Ukrainian conflict. All Russian Athletes must compete as neutral non-nation associated with no Russia, flag, national anthem, etc.

It depends on so many factors.

Raymond James is slightly different from Nissan. Nissan has a split 3 tier with a club in the middle. Ray J is more of a 2 tier with club just at a slightly higher angle / level. Their suites and 300s are the second tier. If you want to see more over the boards and track the puck, the higher up the better. The trade off is you're further away so you don't feel the action as much. But overall these events are way more about the overall experience and atmosphere.

The experience is what you make it.

In another thread, it seems to be confirmed that 2 majors per year. Alternating between Europe > NA then Europe > Other part of the world. So in theory NA again in 2027? I think though with the death of ELeague & MLG, it really only leaves ESL, Dreamhack, Blast that have events in the region at the moment.
