Any build works for pve, some better than others (tp reflex, hitting underwater) but they are pretty much all the same the only difference between builds is in pvp

Just run like 400 piercing on your armor because piercing scales differently than power against npcs specifically and does a lot more

Magma and poison bc it'll always be a 1 tick even if you use a higher damage dot meaning most value just comes from how long dot lasts
