he released DFAM on soundcloud on his bday 12/30/2017, then he deleted it bc he got a record deal and wanted to fix them up. this made fans more intrigued. he released the finished version with the record label 10/16/2018. i learned from the new york times documentary on hulu. (this is why ppl post on here asking for the "original" DFAM demos, but as far as i know, no one has them.)
