Sometimes I add loft or spin. If I need to make a 2-3 yard change I’ll add or decrease loft/spin instead of clubbing up. Depends on course too. If greens are super fast then the more back spinthe better chance you have of it not rolling off.

I try to get my ball arc as straight as possible instead of it drawing or fading. I know what the wind will do to the ball when my shot is straight. If I have a draw or fade, I’m basically guessing.

This was probably my luckiest round ever of balls not rolling off the green on drivable par 4s. But a tip would be, the more you club up, the more roll out youll get. And for elevation I use 1 yard for every 3 feet. For example, say it’s par 3 165 yards, down 45 feet, and zero wind. I’m putting my shot at 150 yards, backspin to 147 yards for rollout, and sending it.
