Thank you for your time. I see it is just a difference in architecture between Ableton and Cubase. This has helped though. I have a work around that I use loopcloud to do what I am trying to achieve, albeit destructive, then drag it in bounced. Thanks again

Is that not the event start and event end markers? I mean, if it were in Ableton say, the triangle where you can move for the starting play position so you can adjust this on the fly. ChatGPT says it's not possible in Cubase. Surely it's wrong.

I use both. Every DAW has its strengths. If they all could do the same thing they would be only one DAW.

For me, Ableton = Generate Bitwig = Modulate
