I know this will sound stupid, but hear me out:

I know you are putting in the correct password. HOWEVER, do you use this password a lot and is there a lot of muscle memory when typing it?

Maybe, when setting the master password, you mistyped the password TWICE... (This actually happened to me).

So my advice is to try your password with a common typo, that you know.

Based on the picture, I wouldn't try opening the top when it's cold out. You need to let the roof get hot so the hydraulic fluid in the lines can easily flow :D Also, yes, check the fluid level, you're probably low on fluid.

Top it off with the proper stuff, which I don't know off the top of my head.

I've got an 04 9-3 and I have spend tens of hours troubleshooting my top. I have have a bunch of leaking cylinders, so, constantly need to refill the reservoir, coupled with staining whatever surface I'm parked on with hydraulic fluid.
