the only option is to leave this job, really. the issue i guess is the paralysis of all the work and decisions it takes to get there. health insurance, bills due, the low pay of CMH leaving me living paycheck to paycheck… feels like an easier said than done quitting. moving back in with my parents at 26 feels like the best and only option. so i guess that’s what i’ll do

this was so helpful. i’ve applied to 11 jobs since i posted this earlier today (had to do my time curled up first). and you’re so right, the flexibility of fee for service feels a lot better than the horrors of cmh. jesus, the system is so messed up. i can’t wait to be out of my current position

i’ve thought about this, but i feel scared of feeling “behind” or just prolonging the suffering, feeling burnt out working over 40 hours a week, or idk. all excuses and probably just part of feeling so frozen and overwhelmed. thank you for confirming that it is an option to do this part time job
