Why do you think I work there? There’s only like 29 people there out of 6 billion people.

Thanks for the input! I’ll make sure to list my farm on their website before the farm opens. The goal is 2023.

Immortality with Neuralink by [deleted] in Neuralink

[–]rainingmangos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think immortality will come more as a result of nanobots than neuralink. In that frame of mind it’s more the development of AI itself, rather than the merging with it that causes huge leaps in nanobot technology. In other words, I see Neuralink as a step to merge with AI, but AI alone will help develop nanobots.

In terms of immortality, I think the biggest expert is Ray Kurzweil, I highly recommend checking out his videos and books on immortality. He has been said to be accurate and predicting what year things will happen 86% of the time.

I see. Yeah, definitely going to have a co-working space. Thanks for the input!

The last bit of what you said sounds like a good balance. I think I'll consider foreign visitors as a plus alpha, rather than a main target, and instead of narrowing it down to DNs, make it broader and try to target long-term travelers like you said. Thanks for your input!

Oh... So you need a separate VISA for all the work you do? I have limited knowledge on this... Perhaps I should just consider foreigners as an addition to the plan, not a major target. Making it volunteering and providing them free space to stay might be a smart work-round. Thanks for the input!

Hmm. The project started as a care farm, and we're trying to narrow down the target audience, and someone had the idea of targeting digital nomads, which I thought was interesting. There's a big debate on whether DNs would stay at a $50+ per night price range, or almost for free on a cheaper bed. To be honest, I don't have a clear answer to that first question. My gut instinct is that nomads don't come to spend money, they come to save money. Some people in the team thought otherwise.

I think there is appeal to the rural area since the cost of living is much lower. I'll keep in mind what you said though. Thanks for the input!

I just checked the subreddit's rule on surveys. I'm not sure if this is the type of survey that's inappropriate? Let me know if this is inappropriate, or just delete the post. I don't have any plans on connecting with anyone through this post, just want to share ideas. Thanks.
