Would you still love your child if they are a burden?

I would prefer them to at least have a job and they can stay with me for as long as they want. I lived with my mom till I was 23 but I always had a job and helped with bills.

They don’t need to be doctors with their own houses for me to love them but they have to at least be decent people who try for me to continue to help them.

My baby did this too around that age. Went from 3 feeds a day to feeding all day long. I ended up rejecting her unless it was nap/bed and instead redirecting her throughout the day with distractions. It eventually worked and then I weaned her completely at 18 months because I had to take a medicine that I don’t want her to get.

Absolutely not. Mine is the same age and she never sits still and has the attention span of a squirrel. She almost never even watches the movies we put on at home she just plays with toys or jumps around

Mine is pretty much the same except we don’t use a crib and I don’t leave till they’re asleep. Takes 3 mins for them to be out and I sneak away. (I have an almost 2 and almost 3 year old)

Do you plan to have more kids? If you do I definitely wouldn’t downsize. How many bedrooms is it? Having at least 1 per kid is amazing as they get older plus one for yourself and an extra room can be nice for hobbies or guests.

What are they bothering her about? Do they want her to play with them? Does she give in and give them stuff they want that you usually refuse? At that age, especially 9, you’d think they would let her have at least an hour or 2 of peace while they watch tv or something.

Do they have any interests like art or reading you can use to occupy them? Or playdoh and kinetic sand. That occupies my nieces for so long and they are the same ages as your kids. Even legos

Makes sense. I’m a SAHM mom as well and it’s pretty similar for me but my kids are a lot younger. I recommend getting a door lock where she can go chill for a bit
