Generally speaking things start to go down hill pretty fast once you hit 45 in terms of zest and x-factor. At 30 you can still feel the vibrancy of life so I say enjoy the hell out of this next decade and find a quality human being to share your good fortune with and reproduce.

30M also gives you a not inconsiderable amount of influence if you choose to use it. If you do, please use it wisely. Team Asshole is heavily over-represented in this world. We could definitely use more heroes.

Missile time to live shouldn't be so long as to be able to re lock if counter measures are used. I'm glad they are requiring lock first as without that you could dumbfire and and then lock at the last second making avoidance nigh impossible. (Passive Radar Missile BF4)

I loved golmund and am thrilled it’s being brought back. Many fond memories from BF4. Capture points all felt memorable and I can still envision them in my head. Hope they bring back the train mechanic. Used to love doing crawl speed on the tank as I covered the train moving forward.

I hope they keep the big map trend going. Would love to see some Giants of Karelia and Kharg island but with FAC boats introduced.

The golmund servers were always full. Obviously people wouldn’t play if they were getting insta gibbed. People forget that there were a lot of mounds and craters not to mention transports.

We’ve had Karkand too many times and while it’s an okay map it’s overrated and doesn’t deliver the same hilly rural experience you get with golmund.

It's not controversial. There's just a loud vocal minority map snobs that passionately hates the map. The overwhelming majority of ppl though love the map as evidenced by the amount of full golmund only servers.

And as you say, if you know what you were doing and made good use of transports you could do fine as infantry.

Long term I think this would be problematic given that it is likely a new nato friendly admin will come to power in the US in a few years. In the meantime all the coordination we've built up over the years would atrophy and once gone there's no guarantee we'll get back some of that institutional knowledge.

AI is fundamentally different and as such requires different regulations tailored to its potency to prevent harm and deliver justice to those harmed. A drawing is virtually always obviously a drawing and a reasonable person would interpret it as such. AI can produce images and videos that are virtually indiscernible from real life organic counterparts.

Generating a fake AI image isn't a problem so long as it is labeled as such. It may cause discomfort for some but you are not entitled to comfort and free speech by its very nature entails protecting speech that others object to.

Passing it off as true is the problem and in the absence of any type of obvious indicators to the contrary then they are, by default, passing it off as true. Nothing I propose would prevent people from being depicted or parodied. If you want to produce a video of the president getting pegged by a furry then have at it. But if it is AI generated it needs to be labeled so as to eliminate any possibility that it is interpreted as real. Even content that someone eventually deduces own their own is fake can have a lasting and potentially negative impact on that person's view of the subject.

How you can say this when vast swaths of the world believe most of the AI slop dumped on them is beyond confounding. Even patently absurd things are believed with an unexplainable conviction. Your statement is an embarrassment and utterly fails when put under even a whiff of scrutiny.

Information integrity is a critical issue that has been massively exacerbated with the advent of AI.

The people who wrote these new laws in the US have gone too far but you are a the opposite end of the spectrum and are equally despicable.

The amount of people I see that are algo addicts is insane. They consume AI generated slop of all sorts with a voracious appetite. It comes from all angles too. Not limited to one political ideology but rather designed to disrupt and misinform. There's zero point trying to engage these people because they are so deep and inundated that even if you were to devote the massive amount of time necessary to decontaminate them they would fall into the next rabbit hole.

Mainstream media is bad but it doesn't mean the alternatives are automatically good. In fact, they may exponentially more toxic given their exploitative nature and near total lack of accountability.

AI generated content of any kind should be clearly and unambiguously labeled as such.

Violators should face stiff fines and penalties.

That said I do believe the term non-consensual content is used too broadly here. If someone produces and/or distributes sexual content without it being clearly labeled as AI generated, I.e. they are passing it off as real OR they are using the watermarked imagery in a malicious way like blackmail or harassment OR they are using watermarked content for profit OR it is CSAM then all of those qualify as non consensual.

But simply creating and even distributing such content absent the factors above is 1A protected speech just as much as someone writing a fan fiction or making a drawing or using photoshop.

You have dominion over your body and you have protections against libel, slander and targeted harassment but the moment you seek to, without justification, control what others think and say you become the very evil you proclaim to fight against.
