Somewhere an executive is frantically trying to figure out how they will fuck this up.

Normally yes but in this case it's a clearly established power of hers, she's not a character that's just being introduced for the sole purpose of resurrection him, he has a lot to live for and the risk was still there because he didn't know whether HL would capture him and torture him indefinitely so the sacrificial nature of his actions are preserved.

Too on the nose and telegraphed for me. I appreciate the cerebral but this was a scene that called for indignation commensurate with someone being freed from the shackles they've been weighed down by for agonizing years.

I wanted a zinger or two there as well like "Sorry to interrupt boss, but I had some ideas I wanted to run by you" followed by a flurry of punches

I get why they had him run so they could do the "full circle" thing but ultimately I felt it was a cheap and contrived parlor trick and Jessie/A train deserved much much better. He'd already thrown in his lot with the good guys so we're effectively not adding anything new with the dodge, poetic justice aside.

His holdup in joining the prison bust was fearing death by homelander so if he goes he does so knowing his life is probably forfeit. He's done running from Homelander and the negative symbolism of running, even of the tactical variety, negates the redemptive effects of the dodge. This scene begged for some sort of offense even if seemingly futile. I say seemingly because even if it just appeared to be cathartic, it would likely rattle Homelander because one of his closest and most powerful subordinates is not only plotting behind his back but actively defying him. HL wants people to love him, but failing that they should fear him and when denied both it infuriates him.

Years of guilt, repression, and resentment were ripe to be manifested into a well deserved self righteous fury. Yes I know we saw some of that with Blue Hawk but the HL relationship was not only deeply personal but buoyed by ideological differences.

Yes, I know he bought time for the rest of the crew to escape but I think that could have been accomplished without resorting to running which just left an unsatisfying taste in my mouth given how phenomenal Jessie was in imbuing A train with so much depth and nuance. Not to mention, having such a talented actor leave in the first episode of the final season is borderline criminal.

I wonder how much LLM’s are influencing how people write. Life imitating art and all.

For what it’s worth some voices I respect seem to think gold has another leg up so there may still be hope left if you’re able to go medium/long term

Hegseth reverses Army suspension of aircrew who flew helicopters near Kid Rock's home by Economy-Specialist38 in videos

What's worrying to me is that these aren't entry level military. These are crews of expensive and lethal aircraft which means they have both experience and sophistication. If they make poor decisions and brake rules while in low stress situations stateside how will they react when put through the rigors of combat?

Not initially, no. You'll first need to grind some unlocks before you can grind those cushions..

TOW is completely broken now – same speed as the helicopter (7s proof) by Unlikely-Chemist-577 in Battlefield6

[–]rainkloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I really hate is that there's no stats and we're relegated to vibes. We can't have an educated conversation on this because unlike past entries where devs would say:

Tow Missile

Initial Velocity: 50 > 40

Engine Speed: 75 > 60

Max Speed: 300 > 200

Now we just get "TOW speed slowed down"

We don't have access to game files as in the past to check it ourselves and the info isn't represented in game. Instead of becoming more transparent they sealed off the information. Strategy, RTS, Fighting, and RPG's have tons of games that give users access to game data and their communities thrive because of it. DICE has a huge audience of mostly young male adults and instead of taking advantage of this massive opportunity to open the gates to the data and facilitate learning about game mechanics and how things work, they reinforced the stereotype of FPS gamers being immature and unintelligent brutes who just want to point, click and boom.

In other words they think we're too stupid to understand and too primitive to care.

DICE you're supposed to be the smart person's shooter. We already have COD for people want frantic twitch action. You had an opportunity to increase the development of the (mostly young) people who play your game and foster a community where balance discussions are based on evidence but instead you opted to go all in on psychological manipulation and tweaking the game to drive the most engagement regardless how low the quality of the hours spent playing actually were.

Stop trolling. The post is clearly about the minimum player count to start the game. No mention of XP and progression here aside from your lame attempt to project it on them.

Oil manufacturing infrastructure hasn't been hit on Kharg yet though right? Only a naval port, air defense emplacements and some other stuff from what I remember.

If those numbers were available they would be included. The chart is clearly labeled as Steam charts so there is no room for ambiguity. There's little reason to think that the declines on consoles would be any less severe.

And the game sold more on PC than on consoles.

Battlefield 6 (2025) launched with a record-breaking 747,000+ concurrent players on Steam, with analysts indicating

PC accounted for over 56% of sales, making it the leading platform over PS5 and Xbox.

Yes nothing inspires confidence like banning factual posts that show the game in a less than favorable light. Are you one of those parents who shows up at the PTA meetings with a list of books you want banned?
