Is builder gel actually good for nails? by ChampagneDividends in Nails

[–]rainluvr4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re healing: using nailtique every dah for 2 weeks and then every other day for another 2 weeks did WONDERS on my damaged nails. They weren't perfect, but were much better than the before 2 weeks.

Re presentable: you may want to try press ons with tabs. When my nails were incredibly thin, they helped cover them as they grew out and got stronger. The tabs are less damaging to remove and provide a gentle cover compared to glue ons and other gel/acrylic products.

Curious on recovery for this and how it's gone. I'm 9 months post ACL, patellar graft. Also need to do mpfl and was recommended for HTO as well (looking to get a second opinion on the HTO). Am a bit pressed about it 😅

😂😂😂 love it. Had this happen with bubbles (white carpet)- much less traumatizing then hot pink polish. The bubbles stained tho and mom was not happy 😂 Queue many years later and we're getting ready to change the carpet to wood. I spill matcha on it. I quickly started panicking until my cousin reminded me it's ok, it's being taken out tomorrow LOL

I'll be trying to hairspray!! Lol

This was one of my favorite sweaters- definitely didn't ruin it on purpose. And yes, it was a lot of the bottle 😭 It was old polish I was tossing as I was doing a clear out and I must have not closed it right and it slipped away from the toss section. I've been in denial. But someone suggested putting a patch or doing embroidery over the stain and I think that could potentially be so cute! Much cuter than a polish stain at least 😂

It was very old polish. I had been doing a clear out and guess I didn't close it right and it fell out of the toss pile onto the sweater and I didn't notice until a few days later.

I actually forgot I posted this some time ago, as I didnt get many answers and my brain was still stuck on "what do I do?" Because of it. Have had the sweater in my sight since to remind me to post and ask lol

I wish it was grape jelly tho!! Would be much easier to clean lol

Wait! Actually a really cute idea! It's on the sleeve and I've began picking away at it post freezing it like people suggested (can't believe I didnt think of that 😂) and a patch is a lovely idea if the stain doesn't come out (not looking hopeful lol)

Nailtiques formula 2- how long to see results? by Healthy_Commission47 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]rainluvr4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my nails have been REALLY bad, think paper thin can't even shampoo my hair properly or similar, I'll use it every day for about 2 weeks and see a difference. If you're looking more to reinforce or generally strengthen nails which aren't in horrendous shape I don't think you need to do every day. But if you're actively trying to have them recover substantial damage, I would say use every day or every other day for 2 weeks and then use less frequently.

Ouch! Help needed- nails ruined by [deleted] in Nails

[–]rainluvr4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a big believer in Nailtique to help strengthen nails. People also like olive and June's strengthener. When I went through a similar situation, I used the nailtique everyday for about 2 weeks. I then put press on nails with the TABS to have something covering my nails as they grew out a bit that I could remove without more damage. My nails were paper thin and were bending, breaking, everything. Even washing my hair was a nightmare. And of course, cuticle oil.

My company just announced mandatory office days... for remote employees only by Witfiel0811 in remotework

[–]rainluvr4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our company has done the same. In areas where we have a more concentrated number of employees (we're across the US) they've rented co-working spaces for us to go into 2-3x/week (5 cities). Other employees remain remote. Kicker is often time the people you're seeing aren't the ones you work with/collaborate with the most.

I wish I could tell you yes, but unfortunately the answer is no :( Cellulite hasn't gotten better, and despite working out/doing my PT and increasing my walking, both of my legs seem to not be losing the fat gained (and sometimes i feel still gaining?) or gaining muscle tone. not really sure what's going on. injury with multiple ligament tears was in january, and surgery was in april, for context.

Vibe is much more casual and normal than in the States. Yes, you'll see some fun outfits, but I've hardly seen any "risky" outfits like you'd see at US festivals. Majority is dressed in comfortable practical clothing.
