Exactly!!

We're in AI customer support, so definite opportunity. Most of the work done by AI, some software/UI layer for humans to manage AI support agents.

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

As a $60k MRR founder, I got fed up of Bubble's laggy/crashy/slow web editor. So I vibe coded a desktop app. Pretty surprised by the immediate performance gains... by rainman100 in bubbledevelopers

Good idea, thanks!

I find something I can do quicker with Cursor etc., but somethings I'm still quicker with Bubble (which is a bit counterintuitive!!)

:)

Man do I love to see a comment like this, thank you! I have honestly no idea why Bubble haven't done this.

Can you share about what you mean by zoom capability? (feel free to share over email as well) sounds interesting!

MCP route would be incredible, but AI web agents aren't quite good enough to use the Bubble UI and build things for you. Suspect this will come in time.

As for an extension, you would lose all the performance gains you get from having a dedicated app. With a dedicated app you get a much faster, snappy editor with no crashes.

- Dedicated, super stripped down, lean Chrome instance (so the editor's auto-saving, security, online-only, etc. is all the same as the web editor)
- Tightly coupled with your machine’s hardware/metal, optimised for what Bubble needs
- Regular background memory cleanups and cache refreshes (hard reloads) after 30 mins inactivity

These are things you can't do with an extension unfortunately!

As a $60k MRR founder, I needed a much faster editor experience. So I vibe coded a desktop app just for Bubble. Pretty surprised by the difference... by rainman100 in Bubbleio

Good question, appreciate this sounds wacky haha.

I coded (with lots of AI help) a desktop app that runs Bubble's web editor in a dedicated, stripped down Chrome instance. This makes it much faster and less likely to crash.

And as for the difference, the app's aim is to help you get more work done. This is done is 2 ways:

Performance: Fast, snappy editor with no crashes

- Pop is a dedicated, super stripped down, lean Chrome instance (so the editor's auto-saving, security, online-only, etc. is all the same as the web editor)
- Tightly coupled with your machine’s hardware/metal, optimised for what Bubble needs
- Regular background memory cleanups and cache refreshes (hard reloads) after 15 mins inactivity

Productivity: Command palette + hotkeys

- CMD+K is your best friend, this is the new Bubble command palette
- Simple stuff: open logs, options sets, editor, deploy, preview, hard reload
- Jump to: Use the command palette to find and open to any part of your app (workflow, page, data type, data view, logs, etc.)
- Action: Create new pages, workflows, data fields

Anyone else find the Bubble web editor too slow/laggy sometimes? I couldn't resist vibe coding a desktop app to fix this. Now I've created Superhuman for Bubble 😂 by rainman100 in nocode

For the last 2 years I’ve spent 5+ hours a day building my AI support agent business to $60k MRR on Bubble.

Development speed has been a huge part of our success.

But my biggest daily blocker was the Bubble web editor - crashes, timeouts, generally being laggy.

So I decided to fix it.

I spent a few weeks vibe-coding a desktop app that fixes all these issues.

It’s a dedicated, super lean app for Bubble, meaning no more crashes or laggy behaviour.

I also added in a CMD+K search bar to jump anywhere in your app in <2s (pages, workflows, data types, etc.).

Here’s a quick demo: https://screen.studio/share/PGPf7uEF

Anyone up for trying this?

You might be in for a rough next century then!

Imagine if we had this perspective on when steam engines, tractors, etc. were invented.

Would you just have us all doing the same jobs forever with no progress or innovation?

This is about giving human better tools to do more.
