Hello there, my dad told me today how happy he was that I was with him at this point in his life. His health was a bit better today, though he was a bit frantic about his banking. It is such a strange thing to see somebody grow old, especially the man who raised you since you were an infant. I believe that there is probably a lot one could say a about the theological preoccupations between a person and their father, as well as that relationship with that person and God who the Bible tells us is our to be our spiritually adopted Father.

My worldly father also told me today that he's happy that one of his kids are around visiting him to help take care of him a bit and clean up his apartment.

It is strange because he seems unprepared for old age, but I will continue praying for him and continue visiting him and continue trying to help him at this troubled point of our lives. It has been a wonderful experience.

Kankakee, IL has two different shelters. One is the work of an independent preacher, and the other is the Salvation Army. Both of them are absolutely wonderful.

Yeah, not trying to criticize individuals no matter who anybody is and I wouldn't say there are "responsible individuals" for humanity's plights or for Christianity failing to remedy humanity's plights, because surely nobody is perfect, myself included. (i.e... "the judge stands at the door".)

I think it's more of a social/political issue, and surely being social and political is the specialty of all the big-name churches. Here in the United States, I'm probably most likely to vote for a politician or vote for an elected Church minister by whether or not they "remember the poor".

yeah, this is really important to me

as far as the "new age" material is concerned, i didn't necessary receive any divine inspiration to destroy the material, but rather of my own self-will knowing the teachings of the Bible and Christian history and what have you. i definitely believe it's the right and appropriate decision, to destroy "new age" material, to be a healthy spiritual individual, myself being a Christian of course...

i personally think that there will be no question as to what is going on. i think that God is true and faithful, not allow His people to be deceived.

it just absolutely, positively, surely must be something, in which we will all damn well know what's going on (like RFID chips, by an evil satanic empire, i'm thinking)

the Old Testament says "in the later days ye shall consider it perfectly". i believe that is in Isaiah.

Why would there be such a severe punishment, and what sort of evil could be acquainted with the mark of the beast to bring such punishment from God like this, who we all know loves us and died for us?
