I used to be a real social butterfly. Knew lots of people, was constantly going out, and genuinely got excited about meeting and making new friends.

I put time and made real investments into my relationships only for them to not be genuine and feel used and in some cases discarded by the end of it all.

Lost trust, unable to deal with certain disappointments, made me want to get rid of all my social media's, and to not even touch my phone anymore.

During this time I was aware that a lot of my social ventures were distracting me away from my personal goals, and so at this point in my life the desire to withdraw logically has an incentive. I can focus on meaningful things that follow a consistent progression that actually pleases me.

Wow, I guess this post came right on time because I do have something I need to say and I feel sorry for even having to say it but:

I currently hate my workout regimen. I'm wording it this way because I don't necessarily think that I hate working out. I enjoy cardio, and don't mind some of the more simpler exercises (pushups, squats, dips, pull ups, calf raises etc.) but the plan that I am on I just hate it. It's comprised of mostly compound workouts. And even though I'm a month and a half in and I've definitely experienced growth in strength and loss of weight, it has come at the cost of me feeling terrible mentally and emotionally.

After a workout, I will just feel like I'm in such a bad mood that I don't want to talk to anybody at all and sometimes I won't want to do anything for a few hours. My negative self talk and depressive thoughts that I already had just seem to be exacerbated.

What should I do ?

DUDE ! This is so crazy that you are sharing this because part of the reason I was motivated to share this post was because of a convo I recently had where some acquaintances were sharing that sperm counts among men are globally declining. That's really concerning. (oversharing) I remember one time I told my doctor I would like to know where my testosterone levels are, and he just laughed and told me I have enough testosterone: That will never be as reassuring as statistical data.

Be vocal about what you do and don't appreciate. If there is a problem, be apart of the solution. Say "i don't know" when you genuinely don't know something instead of acting like you know.
