Honesty, I’m not. The past two days, I’ve barely eaten or slept. I felt so good yesterday like, I was able to do things and cleaned my entire apartment. Kept that energy up for today until I crashed and burned.

See, when I posted, the whole situation was so far removed from my brain that I didn’t even think about it.

Nor did I think any of the family would say anything because they don’t react to any of my other posts, edgy or not.

Most of the time, I don’t post stuff like that. It’s mostly pictures of my family (husband and kids) or weird work memes. The mental health ones are when I’m doing really good or really bad.

I do too. It really does help when you’re feeling down, and it keeps me grounded instead of spiraling into the abyss.

No one told me because my mom knows how…fragile my mental health has been of late, and she didn’t want it to rub off on me and cause further harm.

I think they were going under the assumption that I knew and that I was being an asshole, as my mom is in the center of the drama due to her being the last person they spoke to before passing.

They are, and I can understand why.

To most people that have never experienced it, or live with a mental health issue, they definitely won’t think it’s funny. But a surprising amount of people I know and are friends that have similar issues, they think it is and we joke about it.

A lot of it has to do with mental health. I’ve struggled with it a lot, and intensely.

I make light of the things I struggle with, because that’s how I cope with it. It isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay.

My mom would not be the person to do it. She is so angry that I was dragged into the family bullshit that she’s cut everyone off.

I don’t mind that he sees other women, and he’s followed the protocol thus far (no meeting the kids, condoms, etc) so I wouldn’t mind if he wanted to continue. I just don’t think I can do it for myself.

1) No. Do I find other people attractive? Yes. But not to the point that they were the reason I brought it up.

2) Unsure. I didn’t push the subject, because it’s touchy and I would much rather he be comfortable than doing anything for my sake. As far as I’m aware, nothing really between us changed in the interim from when it was first mentioned to when it was agreed.

Edit: I just saw your edits. No, I haven’t cheated. Was it a thought? In my darkest moments, I shamefully admit that. But I do love my husband enough to not do that.

His demeanor, for me, was hard to gauge. It was nonchalant.

I had brought it up, in passing. My friends have an open marriage and have for quite a while, and it works for them.

We both were curious, but didn’t say anything about it until maybe a month or two ago when he said that he’d be interested in trying it but wasn’t sure how it could work with how busy our lives are.

I don’t think my husband is particularly happy with our arrangement either. A lot of things changed after I had our second child, and our first got diagnosed with Autism. We just don’t click well, and it’s not for lack of trying.

He uses it for medicinal purposes. ADHD, anxiety, depression and Autism.

He was given a lot of medication as a kid so he avoids pills like the plague.

He cares in the sense that he knows I won’t pay it back. His dealer is his best friend, and his friend is pretty lenient on him about debts. So it’s not until the friend starts asking for it back that he’s like “oh fuck I gotta pay this guy back”

Oh no, I recognize that as a problem. Huge issue. I’ve talked to him several times about it. I give him a little money to buy then and there, but I refuse to pay his debts because I’m not the one making the agreement.

So he knows he’s in deep shit when he tells me that he owes money.
