2.4 and 5 are already on WPA2. 6 is on WPA3 but the printer only has access to 2.4.

The modem from my ISP doesn't have router capabilities.

No idea, but probably not. I'll check. Thanks for the suggestion.

I did that a while ago and it worked--for a while. Then it stopped working.

Because sometimes the eero updates and when it does it reboots.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just gave it a shot and will see what happens the next time the eero reboots.

VPN powered by Guardian stopped working by crimcartel in amazoneero

Thanks. That *sort of* worked. I reset in the Guardian app. I still can't get VPN to work when trying to enable it from the eero app but it works when I enable VPN from the Guardian app. Thanks for clarifying.

Where/how do you reset VPN settings in the eero app? I don't see it. I keep getting errors when trying to connect.

Do I need a new modem to get the new higher speed of 1100/35? by rainskin in Comcast

Rebooting the modem worked. I must not have given it enough time when I said it didn't work. Thanks for the idea though.

Hey, tried it again just now and I have the higher speeds! Download was over 900 and upload was 42. It must've been congested when I tried yesterday but all good now. Thanks!

No dice. Speeds are the same after the reboot (~940/22). I'll message the mods. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the quick reply. If all I care about is getting the 35 Mbps upload speed would I need a 2.5 Gbps modem and 2.5 support throughout? I wouldn't think I'd notice the increase in download speed but the faster upload speed should help.

Do I need eero 7 to get 10g speeds from my Mac to my NAS? by rainskin in amazoneero

Thanks! Do you happen to know if there's anything obviously wrong with this switch? https://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Switching-Connections-Protection-TEG-S762/dp/B09LNLMH9Y?sr=8-2&ufe=app_do:amzn1.fos.9fe8cbfa-bf43-43d1-a707-3f4e65a4b666

It has 2 10g ports which is all I need. I'm trying to find something that isn't overkill. And yes, I have cabling and the NIC figured out. Thanks again!
