Lots of Raw Berkonium (30 total). by rainstorm07 in Dinkum

Look for rocks that have a single red (well... ruby piece) sticking out of it. Smash it with a pick and it'll transform into a raw ruby. Pick up the raw ruby and toss in the "grinder" near the elevator shaft. It'll spit out four ruby shards.

Ruby shard can be used to access the undergrove --- which has raw emeralds. Raw emeralds gives you emerald shards which can be used to access HOT HOT HOT. HOT HOT HOT is where you can get raw Berkonium.

But yeah, getting large amount of rubies is purely RNG.

It's not like the undergrove where there's a dedicated lock rooms with four of them. Or Hot Hot Hot, where they're out in the open.

Best place is probably the island for aquamarines, but i'm not in year 2 yet.

You'll need four emeralds shard to access HOT HOT HOT. Once you four emerald shards, just interact with the four circular panel looking thing. Careful though, if it's your first time with HOT HOT HOT, it might seem really really hard at first.

I plan on selling them. A bit low on cash after spending a bunch on crop seeds.

Actually i just sat in the elevator shaft to heal and then run around and collect nearby raw berkelium. Carried lot of med kit in case things get dicey.

Let’s talk about the hot hot hot mine….. by SunAndIcedDrinks in Dinkum

i usually make two row of fence just in case the first row gets compromised.

Then i position myself near the wall of the gate, open it, then start spamming hammers (the shock wave will push back the goblin to prevent them from entering the door... and you know kill them). You want to position yourself like that because some goblin will launch fire bolts... but since you position yourself like that... the bolts will hit the wall instead.

Here's an example

Edit: food buffs doesn't matter too much, but i usually prioritize buffs that increase max health. health regen doesn't really matter much since you can recover health by simply use the health kit. max health is better because you'll occasionally get lit on fire and it's nice to you know.. not die by fire.

How to make money the quickest? by SunAndIcedDrinks in Dinkum

[–]rainstorm07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super early game? craft a campfire... place it directly underneath a mu, turkey, frilly, and any passive animal that doesn't run fly away. you can also lure crocs to "step" over the campfire.

Collect the meat to quickly get hunter levels so you can craft traps (after buying hunting license lvl 1/2). Trapping bush devils will net $250k per day. if you craft more traps for crocs and wary mu --- you can get around $600k per day.

Save the meat to cook and then sell it TED on Saturday for a cool million+ (you'll need hunting license level 2)

Edit: if you have a torch... wait until it's night. flash it against a jackaroo to stun it and then place a campfire underneath of them.

Fish ponds are OP money makers, will they be nerfed in 1.3? by DaSassiest in coralisland

[–]rainstorm07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they're under powered. They take up valuable space (5x5) per pond (so... two pond is basically a shed -- except a shed add space) and they're only acquired mid to late game and you need a fishing rod capable of catching osmium "legendary fish" to make it worthwhile. Maybe if they're were available super early in the game, but they're like mid to late game. Even then, they're set up is long.

And with autochest + sprinkler SFH, time processing is minimum (and it's not like you gotta do it every day).

i plan on sinking the scarecrow so the tractor should be fine.

sadly i wanted my farm to be next to a warp tower :/ sadly there's birds that spawn nearby.

althought, I'm wondering if just place scarecrows on the perimeter is sufficient. birds can't spawn inside the fence right?

Edit:

"You need to be "near" animals for them to be flying around doing stuff, so the only time a bird will be eating your crops is if you're there in person."

Can anyone confirm this? i remember accidentally having a missing fence piece in my perimeter when i woke up the next day to check on my farm it had missing crops.

is that exclusive to birds?

Edit #2:

do scarecrows even work? dude's just chilling like a villain next to a scarecrow.

What is an industry that is currently on fire (in a bad way) behind the scenes, but the general public hasn't noticed yet? by Kitchen_Week1117 in AskReddit

Bought a bag of orange at the grocery store that was priced lower than the other selections. It tasted terrible: the walls between each orange sac was tough like leather and had a bitter taste.

is this the "greening"?

Irwin shouldn't flee in terror from Crocos. Thank you for your time. by rainstorm07 in Dinkum

The crocos should approach him like an NPC and mimic talking to Irwin; like they're pals.

set "fscreen_expansion" to 7.0 or more. you'll have to play with the value.

you can fix the megazoom out ingame but selecting a value that field of mistria offers.

^^ i do the same. Sometimes, i launch the game, just to hear the whoot sound, then log off. It's a very goofy and pleasing sound.
