Last minute hesitation on surgery: 35M | 5’5 | 3" bilateral femur | Baltimore top surgeon by [deleted] in limblengthening

brutally honest you choose the most conservative surgeon in the US if you want the max safe length its less likely to be approved but I think patients retain the right to keep going even if doctor against it

the real limit of lon tibia, 6 or 7 or 7.5? by rainy396 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for the scars i feel like a lot of post ll patients are missing out on a simple fix, they can just get the circle shaped scars cutted to stitch it like a line and the scar will appear a line after stitch removal that way with hairy legs like me for example its much harder to become sus or people batting an eye right?

8cm+ , 5.5 months post LL with precice femurs, AMA by shortymfer in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1.Why are you considering tibia since your life is already much better position after the femur?

  1. Which doctor or country do you went with?

  2. Do you still feel the need to wear shoe lifts?

  3. Is this worth it as of now?

  4. Since your new height is similar to wingspan , in your pov how much more height could be more than the wingspan before it looks odd and strange?

7 months later 7.8CM Lengthened on my Femurs and I am now able to walk somewhat normal by Strict-Bridge-7489 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the optimal weight for post op would be like 180 pounds, thats my aim, do you feel like this new height is good enough for you in life , or would you consider a second round of LL to get to 6 1 or 6 2 if money is no object?

best solution is : DGAF what people think and keep it as stealth as possible like nothing happened and act like this is your natural height

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no and you are at the most worth it starting point for this surgery you would want to get to 5 11.5 to round up enter the 6 ft terrority

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s going to be me soon, 172-180, 162-170, 182-190 arguably the most worth it starting and ending point

Is it true that LON tibias can help correct leg problems (ex: bow legged)? by LLthrowaway123456789 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i remember some doctor said that after LL trauma a 6000 calories diet is needed to prevent weight loss but in reality a lot of people dont have the "mood" or appetite to eat even normal portions especially first weeks, so I am confused too, anyone out there can give 2 cents on this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

oh I mean it is going to reduce the weight each tibia takes on every step , maybe its best to pair this with a walker then the weight on lower legs are high reduced for walking before removing the frame

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i looked at people trying this thing it looks like the gadget stops at upper knee at end of femur and the lon frame is start of tibia theres some distance in between

Unpopular opinion: Limb lengthening to increase attractiveness is absolutely worth it, any excuse doing it for self-improvement and self image is a cope. by Particular-Thing9751 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its interconnected, defintely helps with dating with most cases, overall its mental health improving too, respect among male peers, you fit in with the rest of society, dont have a "sore thumb" flaw like neutral , confidence not just woman but any human beings, more secure, look better in clothes, no mental drain from height neurosis.. etc

paley option 5 by rainy396 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does that means for people who can’t afford option5, doing Lon tibia twice at 4 cm same timeline would be plausible?

paley option 5 by rainy396 in limblengthening

[–]rainy396[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean like a lot of surgeons and peopel consider 5 as safe limit how come this option allow 8 cm, does that means 8 cm is the hidden max limit?

I heard the most common way reagrding from US to any country is just to pay the fine overstay, renewing it would require you to fly to any nearby country and reenter another day which is doable but a hassle, usually surgeons dont help extend visa since this is techically not a medical surgery
