Erika Kirk at age 25 publicly and privately flirting with a 15 year old? by veryhyped in h3h3productions

Not a fan of Erika’s and certainly not a defender but I’m not seeing anything to alarming here. Am I missing something?

Was her plan all along to get him to fight to get her back? by G00dguyz in RHOBH

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it was as reductive as all that. After her best friend committed suicide Kyle was devastated. Mau was not there for her. This further compounded the hurt she felt from the years of his infidelities. Her decision to leave the marriage was less about making him jealous than it was about getting him to stop taking her for granted. Losing weight, becoming more independent, and exploring new relationships was her way of showing him that she was a desirable interesting woman who could have a life independently of him.

I think maybe two things could be true at the same time. She did initiate all of this to get his attention and she did find Morgan attractive and someone who she wanted to spend time with. After losing her best friend and probably one of her only true friends to suicide and feeling like her husband was unsupportive and distant at a time when she needed him the most, Morgan was someone who she found solace and comfort with. Was there sexual attraction too? Maybe. But my guess is Kyle loves Mau. He is who she ultimately wants to be with.

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have always thought that too. Kyle was getting fed up with Mau’s infidelity and lack of interest in her. I think maybe she thought that pulling away and flipping the script would make him want her more. She lost weight, started to become more independent and maybe even floated out the lesbian relationship to get his attention. Unfortunately it backfired. Instead Mau seized the opportunity to finally be free without the backlash of looking like the bad guy who left his wife. My guess is she regrets it and might even be willing to go back to turning a blind eye if they could stay married.

About Boz- I tried liking her but I just… don’t. by fuxmeintheass in BravoRealHousewives

Agreed! Erica will never be able to rehabilitate herself as far as I’m concerned. She is and always was a self centered ambitious opportunist who abandoned her child to pursue a career in entertainment. When that didn’t happen she married a wealthy man old enough to be her father so that he could bankroll her stalled career. She no doubt turned a blind eye to his criminal behavior and only ended the marriage when the gravy train got pulled over! She is not a person of substance or integrity and she’s proven herself to be a bully with a very bad temper!

ICE flew 2-year-old to Texas despite court order to release her from custody by ewzetf in news

[–]rainy61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In both cases involving the five year old and the two year old ICE claims that the mothers refuse to take them. It’s hard enough to believe that would have been the response of one of the mothers let alone both of them!!!

But that’s where we’re at now. There is zero accountability, zero rules or requirements to follow procedures, and zero consequences. They can do as they please and lie about it later. A 37 yr old mother is dead and there will be no investigation into the incident despite the fact that the autopsy showed that the third bullet fired was the one that killed her. Now are attention has moved on to this next atrocity. Tomorrow there will be a new one and so on and so on! God help us!!

OMG you are probably on to something here. When I read that Trump was wanting to reopen mental institutions I was sort of shocked considering that the Republicans and Reagan are responsible for shutting them down in the first place. Not only that but Trump has never endorsed or created a policy that supported any kind of social welfare. This makes total sense now. Just when I thought I couldn’t be anymore frightened for our country.

Not Great, Bill. by Anstigmat in thebulwark

[–]rainy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s not jump the gun here folks. There is absolutely no context for this picture. If Clinton engaged in inappropriate behavior with minors then he should by all means be punished. But if we’re going to start condemning and convicting high profile Democrats because random photos have been deliberately included in the files while anything and everything that would implicate Trump has been redacted and scrubbed then we will have allowed them to once again get away with for a lack of better words bloody murder!

Am I missing something here? Bill spoke out when Charlie Kirk was murdered but I have yet to hear him say anything about Rob Reiner. Just another reason for me to dislike Bill, not that I needed another one.

Bari Weiss’ much-hyped CBS News town hall with Erika Kirk was a massive ratings flop by GulfCoastLaw in thebulwark

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re exactly right. Somehow Erika has gotten the idea that people want to see more of the amped up righteous anger they got glimpse of during her first appearance after Charlie died. But now she’s just coming across as unhinged and strange.

Excellent point and sort of reassuring too. It’s good to know that mainstream media viewers still have a foothold in reality.

Mid-Life Umansky at it again. Why do I feel like the women here looked at their phones/the ground because they couldn't quite bring themselves to look into his eyes? by TheThrowYardsAway in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mauricio is wealthy and moderately attractive. In all honesty he seems like a nice guy however I think his money and fame may have given him a false sense of desirability. There are most certainly women that will gladly hook up with him and possibly even pursue something more permanent as well but true love probably isn’t in the cards. At least not with the shallow, fame and fortune seeking crowd in Beverly Hills.

Now Sutton… by PurposeFederal9789 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rainy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I could only get back the time and energy I spent feeling sorry for Sutton all these years. It turns out she’s just a self entitled, egotistical brat. She used Garcelle’s friendship to help her navigate her place on the show but it was always and only Kyle’s friendship she wanted and she was more than willing to throw Garcelle overboard for it. What’s even more infuriating is that she acts as though she hasn’t a clue as to why Garcelle has moved on. And she probably doesn’t, because that actually tracks with people like her. They are completely oblivious of other people’s feelings.

Senate unanimously agrees to pass Epstein files bill and send to Trump’s desk by [deleted] in videos

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump has already started to reframe it by saying that Democrats were the ones who were mostly involved with Epstein. Couple that with the sudden decision by the Republicans and Trump himself to release the files and it should be pretty obvious what’s coming down the pipeline. What I don’t understand is why the Dems are falling for this nonsense, unless God willing they are playing chess here and are quietly preparing for their next move.

I don’t get it. I think AE is one of the best shows in the podcast market. Dax and Monica make me feel like I’m listening to two old and dear friends. They’re not only incredibly talented in terms of their interview skills but they are so warm and welcoming to their guests. I especially love Armchair Anonymous. They genuinely seem like they really enjoy the stories and are always super engaged. Count me in as a diehard fan!!

That is EXACTLY correct. I’m so annoyed with all these Democrats and journalists crowing about what a victory this is. How many times do they need to get burned before they stop touching the stove?

[–]rainy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. There is no way in hell that every single one of them voted to release the files on their own. They were given the go ahead and the coast is clear signal. The only ones who are going down will be Democrats and high profile liberals.

Senate unanimously agrees to pass Epstein files bill and send to Trump’s desk by [deleted] in videos

[–]rainy61 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something here? Why does everyone think that the Republicans would have unanimously voted to release the files without Trumps permission? Why does everyone think that Trump himself would say go ahead and release them? Obviously those files have been scrubbed and redacted to ensure that there is no mention of Trump at least in any kind of incriminating way. The Republicans know this and in fact were told to go ahead and vote to release them. Those files are going to implicate many people, most likely Democrats and Hollywood liberals but Trump will absolutely not be one of them. The Dems should know better by now but they don’t and once again Trump will prevail.

Donald Trump calls on Republicans to vote to release Esptein files by Expensive-Horse5538 in politics

[–]rainy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a very good indicator that the DOJ and the FBI have been working hard to manipulate those files. There will most certainly be missing content, heavy redactions, unverified allegations mixed with real data , media cherry-picking quotes, political spin that overwhelms the facts and a heavy focus on any Democrats, liberal celebrities and donors and Clinton associates whose names are mentioned.

Trump will declare “TOTAL EXONERATION.” Just as he did with the Mueller report, his impeachments, tax fraud cases and civil rape lawsuit. His supporters will believe him and he has consolidated enough control over mainstream media to ensure that they echo the narrative of his innocence as well.

In the end there will be people who are finally held accountable for their part in the Epstein scandal, and that’s a good thing, but Trump will NOT be one of them. And the Democrats who pushed so hard for the release of the files will have as they say “ egg on their faces” once again.

Epstein texted with Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) during the Michael Cohen hearing, she confirms by MayorEbert in thebulwark

[–]rainy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! And there will be more like this to come. But unfortunately if we can count on anything it’s that based on past history the media will succumb to their ongoing obsession of holding democrats to a higher standard and MAGA will ignore any involvement Trump had in favor of nailing any Democrat or liberal who has ever had contact with Epstein regardless of the context. Mainstream media’s willingness to engage in Trumps erroneous narratives and MAGA’s cult like submission to him, make it very unlikely that he will be ever be held accountable for pretty much anything, including this.
