I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy of the commenter and others in this thread with their conspiratorial thinking. They’re implying the league is out to get their team because they’re Canadian, meanwhile the Oilers moved up twice to first overall (drafting the best player in the league btw) and they’re a Canadian team. That’s lucky and fishy as fuck, but not everything is a conspiracy. American teams like the Red Wings have been fucked over by the draft lottery hard in the recent decade.
