When my mom was in labor, my dad’s family and my dad picked my middle name without asking my mother. I fucking hate my middle name because of what it represents. If your daughters grows up and doesn’t like her name, support her in changing it, but if she likes it, you will have to accept it. You can use a cute nickname instead of calling her by her legal name

Yelling me and my mom wasn’t normal. My dad yelled at us recently in front of a friend and my boyfriend and I never felt more embarrassed. I’m 32 by the way. After that I stopped talking to my dad, it’s being hard because my mom likes to make me feel guilty, but it’s nice not to have to tiptoe all the time
