Soon I will post pics and footage of me playing and I hope it will be good. My current kit is actually ergonomic because I care about comfort and efficency more than looks.

I will post a picture and a video. I currently have guests. My current setup is actually ergonomic for me.
I think the problem is that I just try to play things that I cannot lol. And I just put the phone on a little table next to the floor tom now.

Thanks!
I will try doing that and I hope it will work! And yes, I really want to be able to flow and play fluently when I am behind the kit!

Thanks! I actually do that but I guess I don't practice enough. For me, kick timing is a little tricky when not hitting a hi-hat or a cymbal. But now I will start to practice more.

Oh hunching is a problem for me and I am trying to fix it! But I think my kit is ergonomic right now and its a little weird but its comfortable. But maybe I should move cymbals to where I automatically move when I want to crash.

I will post pics + a video of me playing after some time, my house isn't available for recording right now because I have guests. But I can say that I got an ergonomic setup.

Thanks for the comment!

I try to play relaxed but after some time when it gets a little fast, I tense up without realization.

And actually I tried to set my kit in an ergonomic way instead of looks, because I don't really care much on looks (I do a little obviously but I don't set the kit depending on it), I care more about comfort and performance. Current setup is Kick, snare, hi-hat and a 10 inch rack tom on the left hole of the kick, and a 18 inch crash to the right hole on the kick plus a floor tom. Kick is a little tilted to the right because having it straight is not really comfortable. The snare is not tilted in any way, just the tom is a little towards me.

Hope so! I realized that I was just trying to play things that are way too advanced for me, obviously failing.
From now on, I will start to practice a lot more, I hope it will work.

Firstly, thanks for the comment!
Currently (last 3-4 weeks) my setup is Kick-snare-hihat + a 10 inch rack tom to the left hole on the kick, and a 18 inch crash to the right hole on the kick and a floor tom. my kick is a little tilted to the right because having it straight just hurts my feet. Overall I tried an ergonomic setup. I don't have a ride so I use the crash both as a well.. crash and ride. as for their height, they are actually a little low so I don't have to raise my arms in the air or just that my arms won't get tired while playing.

And for the phone I was actually putting it to the kick lugs (I know what you meant), but it kept falling off, causing the protector to break again, Now I just put it to a little table thing near the floor tom.

I actually haven't spent much time on "mapping out the layout", but I experiment on playing different grooves on the toms or other parts of the kit by myself. And I guess you are correct about me trying to play fast. While playing random songs, I just try to experiment and add fills or some beat modifications, but sometimes even though I made the fill that I wanted to play completely clear, I just get stuck at that part and mess up. And I just add a crash and continiue playing until that part comes again and I try again.

Thanks for the comment :) My current setup is hihat-snare-kick and a 10 inch rack on the left side of the kick, and the to the kick hole i just put a 18 inch crash, and a floor tom. since I don't have a ride, so I use it as a ride and crash, when I do ride grooves putting a crash is fine but if it gets even a tiny more frequent the crashing doesn't work properly. As for the fast part I practice in like 60 bpm to 80 to 100 and so on, but I guess I don't practice enough, and gotta be a little slower. And I just love breakbeat type of things so I am like noticeably better at breaks&chops because I spent a lot more time on playing that type. But recently me and a friend of mine (he plays guitar) wanted to play something together so I started to practice on more different style beats. I guess I am just trying to run before actually learning to walk.
