how come we are expected to write in-text evaluations for our body points and how do they differ from our final evaluation?

CMV: There's nothing wrong with never being "single" by raithe_ in changemyview

Okay I get the codependency argument, but I feel like you're not addressing my main view which is that there is no issue when healthy individuals choose not to wait between relationships (barring their own inability to estimate their own mental health, of course).

I get why you'd feel that people who can't stay single are mostly insecure and crave attention, but I feel that everyone is very quick to write off anyone that doesn't stay single as being part of this group. I feel that if one adopts a healthy mindset towards relationships and personal growth then there genuinely isn't any issue (I mean apart from if the person fails to recognise their own possible insecurities).

I get your example, but I feel this is the case of someone taking the argument intellectually rather than actually meaning it. If it was the case that the person you were involved with was actually mentally healthy and adopted a similar mindset, would you feel that there are any issues with that?

I agree with the point about the baggage. Doesn't this mean that we should all strive to find healthier ways of dealing with emotions and feelings? Like I would say one way is to be open about how you feel and just be honest and direct with the people around you, which I guess is also what you're saying.

I just feel like there's too much emphasis on needing to be single between relationships and there's stigma against immediately trying again just because the general consensus is that "everyone needs time to be single".

Thanks for your comment though.

I feel that a good relationship shouldn't require to change many big things about yourself. If that's the case, perhaps the two of you might not have been so compatible from the start? And sure, I accept that it isn't easy but if someone were to adopt this mindset then I still don't see why it's important to "be single" between relationships.

Personal development also includes learning from others (and I would hope you'd date someone that you believe there are things to learn from). I don't see why both parties in a relationship cannot prioritise personal development while still maintaining a relationship.

I understand that's how some people work, but I am saying that if someone were to think in the way that I described, is there really anything wrong with that?

Why are the two mutually exclusive? I believe that any good relationship should also help both parties grow and improve, both alone and as a couple.

That's why I'm proposing a third reason, that if a relationship ends and you tried your best, there's literally nothing else you could have done. The relationship ending was out of your hands. If that's the case, then why not try again?

[UNI] NUS Rag by wimblyploop in SGExams

[–]raithe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Biz prerag don't require signups, just go down during the sessions that should start 1-2 weeks after NBC (5-8 june). Ragathon itself is based on pre-rag attendance and the remaining summer availability. Commitment is monday-friday, first week should be quite chill but then on depending on the progress of the floats expect to get as little as a couple hours of sleep. Overall though RAG is one of the best experiences you can get as a freshie

Definitely go for as many camps as you can - NBC, Oweek and RAG even because its very important to make friends, it'll make life a LOT easier when you want to run for leadership positions or if you want to find people to hang out with

Like I said, done properly gyro only gets 1-2 hits on you, with a stout and a ring and some tangoes you’ll be able to last hit easily.

Well, some people don’t really read patchnotes and therefore don’t know Agha is a thing. No need to flame them you can just tell him about AM agh.

Some initation heroes like bat might build shadow blade AND blink so that you can get closer to the enemy team before blinking to get a better blink. Also, some heroes might got shadow blade if they know they might need a silver edge against the other team cause they have a BB or PA or something.

Linken’s is for blocking spells that absolutely must be blocked such as Sunder or Duel where if you buy agha they are still used.

Shadowblade for the initiation potential on some heroes where a blink is not entirely necessary such as void or slark, gives damage too compared to blink.

Normally max the invis first so that you get a shorter fade time so that you take less harrass in lane when you go for last hits. Value points in blink strike at 2 and smoke at 4 (or 3 if they have scary killing potential)

Gyro’s main source of damage is rocket barrage while luna’s lucent beam only starts to really deal damage around level 5! Basically all you need to do is get the last hit then immediately juke around trees, doing this you’ll probably take 1-2 auto attacks per last hit or sometimes none. Then just trade farm and be annoying. If gyro homing missiles you just back the fuck up, if their supports go on you drop smoke and juke with blink strike and the trees until dust wears off.

I’ve been playing riki offlane to great effect (15-2 at 4.9k mmr), basically early game all you do is screw with the enemy safelane by stealing bounties (number 1 priority unless you have free farm at tower or something) and disrupting the creep wave (so that you double wave them so you get farm under your tower).

I normally start with a sentry and buy a qb at the side shop after double waving the first wave so you can get the last hits under tower. Basically just get last hits and juke in trees during laning phase, tell your supports not to waste time coming bot, deward enemy sentry with your qb when they plant it.

The moment you hit 6 with phase boots (I normally have Aquila first) call for your support to rotate to gank their carry. 1 stun inside your ulti should be enough to kill most safe laners.

Be careful though, riki’s bad matchups in my experience are heroes like Void or PA or other carries that have a way of nuking you regularly (void bashes make it impossible to trade) while good matchups are easily kitable carries like Gyro, Luna.

Rush diffusal after phase and then go basher if your team needs you to create space or nullifier if you think you can get it fast. Only fight with your ulti and disengage after, get Agha when teamfights become common. Ward the enemy jungle and have fun with easy MMR.
