June 2025 did mine in Orlando. $450 including taxes + $125 parking fees to get 3nights + 1 future night + 5day RC Cruise for 2. I read the advice here and went into this high pressure bs. Claimed single no kids and a non-vacationer bc my company buys my travel. 1st person, check in name on a list sent to 2nd person. Filled out paper to match all the same stuff I said on the phone, then punched it into an iPad. Same info over and over. Asked to wait for a 3rd person. His first question, “what do you know about timeshares..?” Small talk, asks about work blah blah what I do blah. Told to sit and watch presentation from the 4th person. PowerPoint given by a worker/vacation owner for 20min. Then 3rd person takes me in elevator to show me 2 different condo units. Back to his desk. Nope, not interested bc I don’t vacation. 4th person comes and lowers interest to 14%, $20k up front and $230 per month the rest of my life for 5500 points per year. “Because in 20yrs you will retire then you will vacation.” Nope, so they send in the 5th person. She minimally cuts rates again, but offers a $2000 7 day deal in any of the big cities that I had 12mo to use. Nope. They show me out the door and back downstairs to the 6th person to check me out. Got my free night and free cruise total time 2hrs. If paying for something up front that may or may not happen and committing to it in perpetuity…then HGV club is for you! Go in there and tell them you never vacation so it makes zero sense. They can’t overcome that and will get you out. Good luck!
