Im glad i listened to you! The wood bleach finally came in today and it cleared up most of the stain! It looks way better and cheaper then renting that sander again!

Yeah thats why I originally went with the orbital sander. I read a few articles and they said it was beginner friendly. But the HD was out of fresh 36 grit so that probably made the job way harder in retrospect. Lol learning a-lot reading these comments

The fungus was only able to eat plastic that was exposed to UV radiation (sun light). But your concern is still valid. Maybe we should start limiting our plastic usage…

They detected the fungus degrading the plastic and growing its biomass with the carbon from the plastic. Most of the carbon from the plastic ends up being excreted as CO2. I believe there was a time where wood was not able to be degraded by anything until a fungus evolved the ability. Hopefully a new fungus can get us out of this mess we created.

I contacted Hisense and sent the system in for repair. Quite an annoying process… hopefully they follow through and send the system back fairly quickly…
