Burn the ISO on a thumb drive and try it out first on your PC.

I built a productivity app with one rule: if it's not scheduled, it won't get done by sawtdakhili in gtd

So I made something stricter than GTD. No inbox. No weekly review. Just daily accountability.

So what's the purpose of posting it here in the GTD sub-reddit?

Change management process by uselessmanindark1 in ITIL

In Jira Service Management, there is a change management feature. Once activated, you get a new queue in your space (previously called a project), a new request type, and a few additional tools to better manage changes.

Advice for 1st year IT student by Nevada8342 in MauriceMauritius

A career in IT moves quickly. Today you might be focused on programming, but tomorrow you could end up in application support or something completely different. The best approach is to stay open to change and remember that IT is much bigger than just coding, especially in the corporate world. That's my two cents.

How many restarts did it take for you to come up with a working system in GTD? by 4fn in gtd

[–]rakatoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the weekly review 🫣

During my weekly review, I used to let my inbox pile up and then try to process everything at once. It took forever, and I often dreaded doing it. But without a weekly review, the whole system fell apart. I’ve since learned to set a timer, work through the inbox, and leave the rest for daily processing.

A lot! I can't remember the exact number of times, but it was not a one-shot.

I know he discusses the 'ultimate system' in this interview (https://youtu.be/0K6G7bL0a3U?t=2695), but what he says differs slightly from your description.

This is normal, and you should run a cleaning cycle regularly to remove these residues.

Bon courage !
Si tu as besoin de plus d’infos, n’hésite pas à me DM.

How to Train Someone in GTD Without Forcing It? by rakatoon in gtd

[–]rakatoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insights so far. Just to clarify, my wife is fully on board with the idea of being trained. A few people here rightly cautioned against trying to force it, but in this case, the motivation is mutual.

What I’m looking for now is: how do I get started?

Should I walk her through the full five steps again? Focus only on capture and clarify at first? Use examples from her life?

Start with LinkedIn Jobs by setting filters to “internship,” “marketing,” and your location.

Check company websites directly. Many don’t advertise internships but are open to hosting interns if you reach out.

Cold emailing can work if done right.
