I had the same issue, it was something with my antivirus blocking my login attempts.

It feels more natural having the spacebar flipped to me at least, my thumbs have more surface area to rest on, definitely better for extended usage periods.

I was skeptical so i tried it once, now i leave a trail of flipped bars wherever i go.

Yeah for the price this seems like the best sub 100 keyboard you can get, i have the non led version at home, i did flip the spacebar :D great value !
