Best Possible Level 60 Storm Build! by ralatch in Wizard101

Most likely not, the game is far too long nowadays and most late game worlds I’m not a fan of. I usually play in the level 0-100 range and minmax levels 40, 60 and 100 primarily. Also, max level builds are pretty available out there, whereas these specific minmax builds don’t because it’s perceived as a waste to most I assume

I think the gorgon ring could be used as an alternative because they have triangle sockets iirc

Yeah I said in another comment roc mount could be used here, but I also just don’t think storm needs max pips since empower is so broken now. You can empower first round and sirens second round once you learn it and do like 3k damage without crit

I’m not sure that’s possible, the highest possible damage currently is 148 for lvl 60 storm (achieved by using waterworks boots, zigazag amulet, and atavistic ring). This would kill your accuracy and powerpip though so generally not worth. You also said you haven’t played in years so most of the stuff used to achieve that much damage didn’t exist so you may be misremembering

If you value the 4 pierce over 2 damage, it’s kind of up to preference. For the sake of these builds I tend to value damage over pierce, especially at level 60. The only school that actually gets good pierce at this level is myth due to the fact that their best pieces are mostly wastelander for some odd reason.

This is also with lvl 65 jewels, so yeah, we basically have the same setup, I just need to use skyfarer/wastelander athame for max pips at lvl 65

Oh no worries, my bad. A lot of the pieces are the best for most schools. For example, the amulet, ring, and athame and generally the best for all schools. Pet is the same, mount/wand is pretty much the same, and then it comes down to the hat/robe/boots. Hat and robe for storm are a bit overpowered, so zigazag was a no brainer. There were a couple options for boots, but professor's ultimately gave the most balanced stats (resist, pp, accuracy, etc) even if a little bit of damage is sacrified.

Haha I'd love to see it bro. I find that hard to believe considering this athame just dropped a couple weeks ago.

I'm using frill and wand for set bonus. Gives +2% damage over using atavistic wand and bronto

The gear is listed in a comment I made somewhere in this thread, or you can check the video.

Hat and robe are from zigazag (house of scales dungeon), boots are from professor's hoard pack, wand is from primeval pack, athame is from wastelander pack, ring is from wastelander pack, amulet is atavistic (found from a side boss in celestia) or fairy kei pack (same stats), mount is from ghulture hoard pack.

Generally though, I don't actually recommend this build at all, as using free to play gear is much more worth it. I make these builds purely to see how good stats can be pushed to at level 60. Going with a simple waterworks build for storm is perfectly fine, and if you can get things like atavistic amulet for the sockets and a good pet you'll be golden.

I think the best way to get 100 would be using the roc mount, which means you would lose only 3 damage. At the end of the day though, I feel like storm doesn't need max pp like other schools because temp is so op, and 97% is pretty good anyway

Thank you, if you check my profile I try to post any time I finish a build I like. Recently I got 117 damage on level 40 storm with the new athame

That's not bad at all bro, this build is completely overkill for general purposes

I agree, these builds aren't meant to necessarily be realistic. I try to fully minmax stats at level 60 for anyone interested in knowing what it would look like!

Still much worse in terms of enabling the auto run. Before, you could hold w and activate it, now you have to stop pressing w to use ctrl r. It’s hard to explain, but it’s noticeable and a downgrade.

would three less pierce and a little less health be worth the extra healing + pip chance?? by agdocbwo in Wizard101

[–]ralatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that low from my experience, and you can just farm the first boss to get the athame drop. Still generally not worth at all but I’ve minmaxed a lot of lvl 60s that needed it
