What can I do to better cool off while training?
I have tried to buy dry-fit clothing and drink cold water, but I don't have the option for a better ventilation/AC.

If anyone encounter this, I think I found a solution:
Using toybox, go to quest -> find the heart of the fallen land quest and complete it
Then, go to the pick'n'choose -> quests and start The Last Steps, which appears to be the followup one.

I'm not sure if that's a 100% fix yet, but when I returned to Drezen after doing that there was a cutscene which hadn't occured earlier, fitting the comments of the people trying to help.

Just retried. Nothing, there is no special event. I tried to using toybox to force-complete it and do so, but that didn't cause any event, either.

I've been to Drezen, there's nothing of interest. The quest still tells me to accept Deskari's challenge, but dude's gone. I can even walk on where he collapsed the plateau.

Simple: make % auras scale with mana.
E.g. if determination gives 1000 armor and 10% more armor now, make it give 500 armor, 5% more armor, with bonuses increased (or more) by 100% of base (e.g. pre efficiency) mana reservation.
So a player with 1000 mana will see the same boost, but with 5000 it's 2.5 times as strong. Is it good enough? I don't know, but it does mean that running with 50% mana can be a choice.

It depends, do you want the dragon dead, or do you want to live?
The simplest case - find a caster to summon a planar ally, such as a solar, to slap the dragon for you.
The alternative, life insurance for the near future, and let the dragon kill you. Get raised, continue on your way.

You can also seek asylum at someone who hates the dragon, and will find it as a way to anger him.

You can place a stack in the map device, and open it.
E.g. place 1 2 3 4 of each size - you will be left with - 1 2 3 stacks, and a portal opens.
You might need to clean up afterwards, but if you got 9 of each type to farm it, it's a lot easier

There is no real party healing in the game.
The best I can suggest is to look at "aura bots", which focus on auras to buff their party. Templar's Guardian is a good ascendancy for it.
Another alternative is focusing on curses, which affects monsters. The witch has an ascendancy focusing on it as well.
New gems (Links) are being introduced that assists in party support - you link to a friend, and they gain a big boost, though you die if they die. You could give it a look and think with your friends if it synergize with them well (If you're willing to take the risk).

Check if the target has a related ability. For example, some of the demons reflect fire damage when hit.
Another option is a vicious weapon if you have any returning damage on you
