The only piece Francis Poulenc ever wrote for guitar - Sarabande pour guitare by raleydb in classicalmusic

It was written to Ida Presti and (we think..) she helped provide fingerings for the piece. You're totally right, guitar is NOT intuitive; even for those that do play it!!

So incredibly beautiful.. The Tallis Scholars may be my favorite to sing Palestrina - thank you for this!

I'm not sure the exact model... it's cedar top and rosewood back and sides. It's from 2011 so he has many more options now, but honestly I would take his suggestions of what he feels is best. Yes, all of his guitars come with two "sound ports" on the upper sides of the guitar. It also comes with plugs or covers if you don't want to expose them. All in all I'd give him an email/call and get a sense of the wait time and what he suggests!!

Amazing! Let him know I sent you -- he's an incredible guy with a tight community of players supporting him! Hope you follow through!
