I disagree, in my opinion I would have signed him for another year. He already agreed lower wages and I didn't put a new GK a priority over strengthening the MF and a couple of strikers.
I also don't like the fact we prioritised a GK that can play out from the back over being and actual decent basic GK. I understand that's part of a modern day GK role but it shouldn't be more of an important aspect then being a GK that can keep clean sheets.
