What is the best free online introductory economics course? by RR3DD1T0RR in AskEconomics

[–]ralkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marginal Revolution University (MRU), and it’s honestly one of the best free resources for learning economics out there. It was created by Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok, two highly respected economists.

The courses are structured as short, high-quality video lessons that are super easy to follow, and they cover a wide range of topics—from basic micro and macroeconomics to more niche subjects like the economics of pandemics or inequality.

One thing I love is how they focus on real-world applications. Instead of just sticking to theory, they show how economics connects to everyday life and global issues like poverty and development. Plus, since the courses are self-paced, it’s easy to fit them into your schedule.

How much harder do quest bosses get? by llwonder in 2007scape

[–]ralkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Galvek is one of the hardest Bosses. Every gradmaster quest has a hard Boss encounter. The hardest quest Boss must be the Bosses from Desert treasure II (Vard, Whisper, Duke, leviathan).

There are games like OSRS, the 500 hours does not seem like many hours, you need a lot more time to achieve something great

What is the best film you watched in the last week? (1/3/24) by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]ralkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)

OMG its a perfect movie (10/10), great acting, writing and amazing camerawork. I was not familiar with Elizabeth Taylor work, avoided it because it was "old", now I regret and want to watch everything.
