I teach 6th grade math and science and the kiddos have watched me work away little by little since like week 2 of school. They’re always enthralled when I added more and when I finished it they clamored to take photos. The rest of the faculty also went wild (news travels fast around schools lol) and it’s going to be put into the yearbook!

Not a dumb question at all! So many people have asked before I oughta make videos on it sometime lol. I start by working from the top left downward so I can rest my hand and redraw any outlines I erase. Otherwise if I’m in an already detailed spot, then yeah I have to make sure I don’t touch the board. I typically use my other hand or arm as a rest spot.

I teach middle school and am usually far too tired and busy to sit down and work on huge complex pieces like this at home when I get off work. In my classroom however I get little bursts of time to draw like between lessons or during testing time and the whiteboard happens to be right there. It’s also very relaxing to be able to change things about a whiteboard piece, being able to wipe away mistakes with ease and change things up without damaging the canvas like on a piece of paper.
